(Clearwisdom.net) I am 61 years old. My husband and I started practicing Falun Gong in 1996. My husband was dismissed from his government job in 2004 because of his firm belief in Falun Dafa. He now works as a night watchman.
Although we have some economic difficulties, we are very wealthy mentally. We rent our house. Every year we move to a new house. Wherever we move to becomes our new environment for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. We study Teacher's lectures, practice the exercises, and clarify the truth every day.
On the morning of June 10, 2010, I went out wearing clean clothes to clarify the truth to people. While passing by a barber shop, a woman accidentally poured a full basin of dirty water on me. She looked scared and immediately apologized. She repeatedly invited me into the shop to clean myself up. I had cultivated Falun Dafa for 14 years, and even though my body had been splashed with dirty water, I wasn't angry at all. Instead, I smiled at her. At first, I didn't want to trouble her by entering the shop, but she persistently asked me to do so. I looked at my dirty arms and then realized that she was waiting to hear the truth and be saved. I immediately smiled and said, "Maybe we have a predestined relationship. Let's have a sincere talk."
After I entered the shop and washed my arms, I started telling her about how Falun Gong practitioners were being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and urged her to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I also gave her a set of DVDs of the Shen Yun show. In the end, she apologized, and then thanked me. She also said, "I really ran into a good person today."
I hurriedly went to the morning market and walked through it. When I was just about to leave for home I saw a former neighbor, a retired police officer. I caught up to him and said, "Did you move to a new neighborhood? There is a reason for us meeting here today. People are talking about withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Have you quit yet?" He replied, "I haven't heard about that. What is it about?" I said to him, "The CCP has become corrupt and is very bad. When we were neighbors, I heard some conversations between you and your colleagues. You talked about how bad the CCP is. Soon, the heavens will take control. If a person quits the CCP and its affiliated organizations, the person will be saved. The heavens will eliminate the CCP. We shouldn't have anything to do with the wicked party. You are a party member so you should withdraw. Your surname is Zhan isn't it? How about quitting the CCP using the name Zhan Sheng [meaning victory]?"
He replied, "That will be fine. The party is truly corrupt. Thank you for helping me to quit the CCP!" I knew he often read Falun Gong informational materials with several other people.
When my husband arrived home from work he told me about his persuading people to quit the CCP. He said that when he asked two co-workers to quit the CCP they told him that they had already quit, and that the mother of one of the workers was also a practitioner.
My husband and I clarify the truth every day. We are each only one particle of the 100 million Falun Dafa practitioners. I believe that we can save more and more people as long as we continuously clarify the truth to people. People's moral standards have declined rapidly and they have lost their human nature, so saving people is especially urgent. Not only should we have compassion, we should be rational and wise in clarifying the truth. Only then, can we truly save a person.
