(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, 10 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 20 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jin Min Arrested
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jin Min was monitored when her sister was arrested on July 1, 2010. She sent text messages to fellow practitioners in Jilin City by cellphone. Her home was ransacked. The DVD player and Dafa books were taken away.
2. [Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Lixiang Held at the Huludao City Detention Center Over Half a Year
On the morning of December 26, 2009, Chen Yulong, deputy director of the Lianshan District Domestic Security Division, and Lu Fengjun, officer from the Chemical Police Station, and five other police officers stormed into Ms. Wang Lixiang's home and arrested her. She was taken to the Huludao City Detention Center. She was held there over six months. Recently, she was sentenced to six years in prison at the Lianshan District Court, Huludao City.

3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Provice] Ms. Wang Xiaoming Arrested
Ms. Wang Xiaoming from Shouyi Road in the Wuchang District was arrested recently. She is probably being held at the the Legal Education Center in Hubei Province, formerly known as "Tangxunhu Brainwashing Center>"
4. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Guixia Arrested and Held
On July 1, 2010, Ms. Gao Guixia from Foyedong, Lingyuan City, was arrested again by police officer Tao Guoyi. Liu Jingkui, director of the Foyedong Police Station, was in charge of the arrest. Ms. Gao had been clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. Her home was ransacked. Now she is in the Lingyuan City Detention Center.

5. [Chongqing] Mr. Jiang Qinglie Arrested
Mr. Jiang Qinglie, in his 60s, from Petroleum Base in the Yubei District, Chongqing, was monitored by police officers in plainclothes and people in charge of the retirement office of the Petroleum Base when he came home. He was arrested when he was on the third floor at 10:00 p.m. on July 2, 2010. That same night, his home was ransacked. Now his whereabouts is unknown.
Because of his steadfast faith in Dafa, he was dismissed from his job. For the last tens of years, he was mistreated and harassed by the police, judiciary, and court.

6. [Heilongjiang Province] More Information about Mr. Liu Mingfu
On September 23, 2010, Mr. Liu Mingfu, 48 years old, was arrested by officers led by Wang Qingshan, from the Domestic Security Division, Suifenhe City. They tortured him to try to extract a confession. He was tortured for two days and nights by Wang He, leader of the Division of Crime Investigation in Suifenhe City. Mr. Liu was deprived of sleep and food. He was restrained with two sets of handcuffs to an iron chair and beaten. They poured water on him and did not allow him to put on clothes. He was freezing cold in the basement for over seven hours. Later he was sentenced to over seven years by Suifenhe City Court. Now he is in Lianjingkou Prison, Jiamusi City.
On May 21, 2010, Mr. Liu was reported for doing the Falun Gong exercises by inmate Huang Dalei. Zhang, with the Prisoner Political Office, verbally abused and threatened Mr. Liu and then locked him in a cell. Mr. Liu went on a hunger strike for five days. He was force-fed many times and taken to the hospital for five days. Later he was to be taken directly to a small cell. He went on a hunger strike again for four days. After 15 days, he went back to the ward.
In 2007 Bu Jianbin, an officer of the ward, forced Mr. Liu to take off his clothes in front of many inmates. His body was searched and four Falun Gong books were taken. In 2001, when Bu Jianbing was the leader of the section, he did not allow Mr. Liu to contact fellow practitioners and did not allow him to leave the ward. At 8:30 p.m. on May 10, 2010, he hit Mr. Liu in the face twice.
7. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jin Xiaomei Arrested
On the afternoon of June 28, 2010, Ms. Jin Xiaomei was arrested by officers from the Linghe Police Department, Jinzhou City, when she was clarifying the truth near the High Professional Institute, East District, Bohai University. At 11:00 p.m., she was taken to the Jinzhou City Detention Center.
On the second day, her mother was told to go to the Linghe Police Department, where she was given a document of criminal detention. They threatened her mother and toldher to hand over the key to Ms. Jin's home. They then ransacked the home. Police officers also went to Ms. Jin's home to harass them. They also went to Ms. Jin's son's school and forced him to tell them who had contacted his mother.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] One Practitioner Arrested
At 8: 00 a.m., on July 5, 2010, someone cried out from Zhongshan Hospital in Dalian City, "Falun Dafa is good!" A thin woman in her 30s was arrested and taken to a police vehicle.
9. [Jiayu County, Hubei Province] Ms. He Guihong Taken to Brainwashing Center
On July 1, 2010, Ms. He Guihong from Jiayu County was taken to the Hubei Province Legal Education Center (a brainwashing center). Since July 1, 2010, she has been on a hunger strike to protest her mistreatment.

11. [Ganshu Province] Mr. Cao Dong Tortured in Tianshui Prison
Mr. Cao Dong was detained in Tianshui Prison, Ganshu Province. He went on a hunger strike December 7, 2010, on and off for a few days. Since December 8, 2010, Mr. Wen Weilong also went on a hunger strike. The guards put shackles and handcuffs (the handcuffs were passed through the shackles) on Mr. Wen and incited inmates to force-feed him. A few inmates monitored him 24 hours a day and did not allow him to go out of the door of the ward. He was also not allowed to speak to others.
12. [Tianjin ] Ms. Zhao Qiuxia and Ms. Du Rongfang Arrested
On July 4, 2010, Ms. Zhao Qiuxia and Ms. Du Rongfang from the Dagang District, Tianjin, were arrested. Now they are in the Dagang District Detention Center.
13. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yuxiang Arrested
Between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. on July 7, 2010, officers from the Taibaozhuang Police Station in the Xiashan District, Weifang City, went to Zhanglingjie Village to arrest Ms. Wang Yuxiang, whose home was ransacked.

15. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Zhi Injected with Drug
Mr. Liu Zhi from Shenyang City was sentenced to four years in prison at the Heping District Court in May 2010. He was tortured in the Shenyang City Detention Center. He was injected against his will with a tranquilizer. On July 5, 2010, he was picked up by his family.
16. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zang Xian Sentenced to Labor Camp
On the evening of June 12, 2010, Mr. Zang Xian, 59 years old, from Han Village, Songlindian Town, Zhuozhou City, was arrested and his home was ransacked. He was sentenced to forced labor and was taken to Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp, Hebei Province.

At 11:00 a.m. on July 5, 2010, Mr. Zhang Erbo from Beizhongma Village, Xiezhuang Township, Zhao County, was arrested at his home.

On July 6, 2010, Ms. Liu Rufang, Ms. Wang Xu, and Ms. Wang Wei from the Xigu District, Lanzhou City, were arrested when they were clarifying the truth in Yongjing County, Ganshu Province. Their homes were ransacked. Now they are in the Yongjing County Police Department.
20. [Binzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Lai Zhixiong Arrested
On July 5, 2010, Mr. Lai Zhixiong got a call from the director of his employer, the Yongxing County Seed Co., Binzhou City, to go to work. On the way, he was arrested by police officers inplainclothes and handcuffed. His current whereabouts are unknown.

21. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Mr. Zou Yeda Arrested
Mr. Zou Yeda, 73, from Taogongmiao Community, Langli Town, Changsha County, was arrested by two young officers in uniform--Yuan Youjin, chief of Changshao County 610 Office, and Rao Zhongrui, special staff person with the town 610 Office. They forced Mr. Zou to attend the legal education class, which actually is a brainwashing center. He was taken without clothes. The guards do not allow his family to visit or send clothes.

22 [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. He Lixia Tortured Severely
Ms. He Lixia from Taikang Town, Duerbote Autonomous Region, was severely tortured. She threw up everything she ate. The police ook her to Harbin but she was refused admission. The police forced her brother to pay her bail, then she was released on the afternoon of July 5, 2010. However, the police did not return Ms. He's motorcycle and did not return her 6500 yuan in cash. In addition, her family was threatened.

24. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Jianbin Arrested Again
Mr. Wang Jianbin was arrested by police officers from Shiyan City and taken to the Hubei Province Legal Education Brainwashing Center. Mr. Wang was sentenced to seven and a half years and was just released in the beginning of this year.
25. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hao Jianling Arrested
Ms. Hao Jianling, Puzhai Village, Qinhuangdao City, was arrested by officers from the Xizhangzhuang Police Station whe,n she was clarifying the truth in the Xizhangzhuang, West Development Zone, Qinhuangdao City a few days ago. Police officers stormed into her home and even took tape used to seal the windows during the winter. Ms. Hao was held in the Qinhuangdao Detention Center but was released because of her critical health. After she returned home, the village cadre got a secret order to watch her. Ms. Hao could not endure this and was forced to leave home.
26. [Binzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Luo Juan Sentenced to Six Years in Prison
Ms. Luo Juan from Binzhou City was secretly tried in the Beihu District Court on May 17, 2010. She was sentenced to six years in prison. Reportedly, police officers planned to take her to the Changsha City Women's Prison.
27. [Jingyuan County, Ganshu Province] Mr. Bai Sanyuan Tortured Until Extremely Weak
On July 7, 2010, Mr. Bai Sanyuan, who went on a hunger strike for 44 days, is still being held in the Jingyuan County People's Hospital. Now Mr. Bai is very weak.
On July 3, he was taken to have an ultrasound. The diagnosis showed that light spots on his liver had become more darker. There were polyps in his body cavity. The biggest was approximately 1.2 cm in diameter. The bile cavity's ability to move is limited.
