(Clearwisdom.net) When a person is suffering from cancer and all traditional treatment options have been exhausted, feelings of fear, frustration and helplessness are common. Such patients also endure debilitating pain and often experience heart wrenching despair.

Remarkable Recovery #1

Clearwisdom.net published an article written by Mr. Qu Jianguo, a high school student in Hebei Province, on March 15, 2010: "High School Student Survives Bone Cancer after Practicing Falun Gong" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2010/3/15/115355.html) The following are excerpts from his story:

"We finally went to the Jishuitan Hospital in Beijing, one of the best hospitals in the country, on August 23, 2009, where I was diagnosed with bone cancer, an incurable disease... Chemotherapy made me feel very bad, and after starting the chemotherapy, all my hair fell out, and I was often nauseated and unable to eat anything. I was in pain all the time. I began to understand what it meant when people say they'd rather die than live.

"My family used up all their savings, but my illness was still not cured [...] Finally both my family and I were desperate, and eventually I gave up the treatments.

"My grandmother's two sisters, who are both Falun Dafa practitioners, patiently explained to me the facts about Falun Dafa and its goodness, and encouraged me to learn it. They gave me many books and truth clarification VCD's.

"I strictly conducted myself according to Dafa's principles, and my illness improved day by day. I gradually became free of pain in my legs [...] I was a dying person, but I miraculously recovered without taking medicines or injections. Dafa saved my life! Master saved me! I sincerely thank Master and Dafa."

Clearwisdom.net also published an article from a senior practitioner in Guangdong Province who recovered from lung cancer: "Lung Cancer Disappears Three Months After Practicing Falun Gong" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2010/3/29/115680.html)

"I felt weak in 2009, coughed frequently and had occasional bloody sputum. I did not initially pay much attention to it, but later on I lost my voice. Since medication did not bring improvement, I went to a hospital for a CT scan. The CT results diagnosed me as having lung cancer.

"One of my good friends paid me a visit and introduced me to Falun Gong. It was strange that I was very excited when I heard the words of Falun Gong. At this critical time of life or death, I chose to practice Falun Gong. I began reading the book Zhuan Falun and completed the whole book. Several days after that I coughed again and had bloody sputum. I felt very bad; however, all of a sudden I felt gentle pats on my back, and the cough stopped. I realized that Master was there to take care of me.

"For the past several months I studied the Fa and practiced the exercises, but did not take any medicine, and Master purified my body. I knew it is necessary to suffer during sickness karma elimination. Now I feel great. My cancer was cured within three months from the time I began cultivation. This is the power of Dafa! Master and Dafa have given me a new life."

Remarkable Recovery #3

A breast cancer patient from Liaoning Province shared her story with us in the article: "Breast Cancer Survivor: Dafa Saved My Life." (http://clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2009/10/3/111266.html )

"I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and had an excision of one of my breasts. Seven years later, the cancer spread to my lungs and stomach. My whole body was swollen. After seven to eight rounds of chemotherapy, my body was too weak to receive any more. I felt great pain from growing tumors, and it was hard to swallow food or sleep. I also had diabetes and other chronic illnesses. The hospital notified my family to make final arrangements for my pending death.

"I had a friend who practiced Falun Gong [....] [With her help,] I learned the Falun Gong exercises, but could not complete the sitting meditation due to chronic swelling in my limbs. My Falun Gong friend encouraged me by repeating Master's words: "when it's difficult to endure, you can endure it. When it's impossible to do, you can do it." (Zhuan Falun) I constantly reminded myself of this when I was in pain during the practice. Finally I was able to complete the sitting meditation. The whole-body swelling was gone ten days after I started practicing Falun Gong.

"The doctor and many of my patient friends were surprised by my quick and complete recovery. They wondered how I did it. I told them loudly and calmly, 'I practiced Falun Gong.'"

A practitioner in Changsha City started to practice Falun Gong at the beginning of 1998, in the article based on her personal account: "My Husband Fully Recovered After Being Given One in a Million Chance to Survive" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2009/8/14/110015.html)

"I had more than ten kinds of diseases including: Colorectal cancer, uterine tumors, serious cholangitis, headaches, twitching pain in my legs, an anal fissure, heart disease, stomach disease and kidney disease. As soon as I started practicing Falun Gong, all the diseases disappeared. Through practicing cultivation, my temperament has also significantly improved. I learned to think of others first under all circumstances, and take personal gain lightly. These changes convinced my family, and they started to see the wonderfulness of Falun Gong. Therefore, in June 2007, my husband also started practicing Falun Gong."

"At age 16, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The doctor said I needed surgery and chemotherapy about a year after the surgery. If properly cared for, I should have another 3 to 5 years to live.

"I visited my aunt's house, where I talked with my cousin, her husband, and her in-laws. They were all Falun Gong practitioners. They taught me the Falun Gong exercises, and loaned me recordings of Master's lectures and Zhuan Falun. After doing the exercises for a few days, my body felt better. At that time, I was only doing the exercises and did not study the Fa.

"In less than a year, my body became completely healthy. I know everything was given to me by Master. He gave me a second life! "

Ms. Chen, from Taizhong City in Taiwan, was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was fifty-one years old. She said: "I remember it was during the third or the fourth chemotherapy that I decided to practice Falun Gong. [...] Looking over the past, a few years ago, my friends defrauded me of a house worth more than 10 million Taiwan dollars. Several years later, I became seriously sick. All of these haunted me for a very long time. However, I found the answers to all my questions in the precious book Zhuan Falun. Now I finally understand why people suffer from difficulties in life, and why people become sick.

On August 2, 2002, the Minghui website published an article "From a desperate kidney cancer patient to a happy and healthy practitioner" which talked about a North American practitioner's life that was full of ups and downs. At first, she was extremely sad about the death of her father. Later on, she became angry and resentful about the fighting among her family members over the inheritance. Then she was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Western medicine couldn't cure her disease, so she and her husband turned to qigong. Her husband found a long list of qigong practices from the Internet, and finally they chose Falun Gong. When she was reading Zhuan Falun, she understood the reasons for all the conflicts she had with other people in the past. One year later, her cancer was cured. After her mother and children witnessed the changes in her and the magic of Falun Gong, they all became Falun Gong practitioners.

On July 10, 2001, Ms. Ji Hong, from Canada, forwarded to Clearwisdom.net a letter that she submitted to a Chinese newspaper: "The Story of a Pancreatic Cancer Survivor" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2004/11/11/54421.html). She said in the letter that she was diagnosed with late-stage cancer in the head of the pancreas. In the surgery, the doctors found the tumor had adhered to the inferior vena cava and the operation would be associated with very high rates of operative morbidity and mortality, so the doctor stitched her up without removing her pancreas. Later on, she luckily heard about Falun Gong. Since then, she has never stopped studying the Fa and doing the exercises. As she continued to read Zhuan Falun and practice Falun Gong exercises, she kept developing new understandings of the true meaning of life. As she tried to conduct herself according to Master's Fa lectures, her health kept improving. She became increasingly healthy each day. She used to suffer from chronic angina and gastroenteritis, but they completely disappeared. She said: "It is because I practice Falun Gong that my life span was prolonged and my life was altered. "

Falun Dafa not only saved these cancer patients, but has also helped their families. It has helped more than 100 million people in the world to gain physical and mental health and become better people. However, this great and profound practice has been brutally and savagely persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for eleven years.

People who believe that they understand the true meaning of life are fearless. Hence the persecution in China cannot crush Falun Gong as it was intended to do. To the contrary, Falun Gong has flourished all over the world.
