(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Du Juying has been persecuted repeatedly because of her beliefs. Even two of her sons participated in her persecution under pressure from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Ms. Du's son Qu Zhipeng forced her to be admitted into the Yichang City Dongshan Mental Hospital again in June 2010.

Ms. Du has been harassed, detained and fined several times by the personnel from the 610 Office and the Yichang City Gezhouba Hydropower Station Security Office from July 1999 to 2003. Since 2002, officers have threatened her sons, Qu Zhiqiang and Qu Zhipeng, with the loss of their jobs and instigated them, to mistreat their mother. Her sons took control of Ms. Du's retirement pension and only left her a little for living expenses. Her sons even forced Ms. Du to be admitted to the Yichang City Dongshan Mental Hospital several times.

Ms. Du's eldest son Qu Zhiqiang, in his thirties, is an employee of the Yichang City Gezhouba Hydropower Station. After July 20, 1999, Ms. Du was detained and fined by the hydropower station after she went to Beijing to appeal for the justice for Falun Gong. Qu Zhiqiang was afraid that he might be implicated, so he beat and scolded his mother, withheld her retirement pension, and forced her to go to the mental hospital several times. Other Falun Gong practitioners told him to treat his mother well, but he didn't listen. He was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2007 and died soon after that.

Ms. Du's younger son Qu Zhipeng, also in his thirties, is running a transportation business in Wuhan City. He doesn't live in Yichang City and only comes back on Saturdays.
