(Clearwisdom.net) At around 8 am on July 26, 57-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ren Liyun from Changsha city in Hunan province, was seized by six unidentified men and forcibly taken away in a vehicle. Some of her neighbors witnessed the incident.

Ren Liyun's family went to the Renmin Xinchun community complex to seek information about her whereabouts. The staff there told them that she was sent to "receive training for several days." As to where she was being "trained" they did not give any further information, yet they gave a vague response regarding the duration of "training." They first ventured that it would be two days and later divulged a seven day appropriation.

An informed source revealed that starting as early as July 24, some people had been sent to monitor Ren Liyun near her home. The departments directly involved in the surveillance were the Renmin Xinchun community members and the Chaoyang Street Committee. On the morning of July 21, Ren Liyun distributed flyers regarding quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its organizations. Subsequently, she was followed by six or seven plain clothed men and a police car, during which they tried to capture Ren Liyun. But Ren Liyun broke free and exposed their attempt in public and further announced that she benefited from practicing Falun Gong and continued to describe the brutal torture inflicted against practitioners since 1999. Knowing that their plot was exposed, the perpetrators became suddenly abashed and left one after another within thirty minutes. Ren Liyun returned home safely. However, she was abducted five days later near her home and her whereabouts are not known.

Ren Liyun used to suffer from many diseases including a nervous system disease and a kidney disease. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1996. Since then, she has been very healthy and has not had to take any medicine. Since the persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, she has been imprisoned in forced labor camps twice and has been repeatedly detained at brainwashing classes and detention centers because of her refusal to give up her beliefs in Falun Gong. She has been deprived of her constitutional freedoms for over four years. In addition, her son was also affected by the persecution. He was barred from joining the army several years ago.

According to various sources, Ren Liyun is most likely detained at the "Changsha City Law Education and Training Center," which is a brainwashing center that targets Falun Gong practitioners. In 2003 and 2004, Ren Liyun had been detained there twice.

Over a dozen practitioners from Hunan province have been detained at the "Changsha City Law Education and Training Center." These severe human rights violations elucidate the current state of the CCP's attack of goodness that has been in existence for nearly 100 years..
