(Clearwisdom.net) Ever since the Jiang administration collaborated with the Chinese Communist Party in persecuting Falun Gong, the Jizhong Police Station in Huabei Oilfield in Renqiu City, Hebei Province, has been closely followed its orders. For years, it has severely persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. According to incomplete statistics, more than 20 Falun Gong practitioners have been illegally sentenced and detained, some of whom have been sentenced to five-year prison terms, and some have been detained more than once.
The reason that area officers have been relentlessly persecuting Falun Gong practitioners is due to the enticements offered by the Jizhong Police Station Headquarters. Policemen actively involved in persecuting Falun Gong are rewarded and promoted. Li Shizhen, who used to work for the 610 Office, was promoted to political director of the Criminal Police Division due to his active involvement in the persecution. During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Yang Lixin, director of the Domestic Security Division of the Rennan Police Division, illegally arrested six Falun Gong practitioners and was awarded a third-degree honor.
Recently, the Rennan Police Division arrested four more practitioners and took them to a brainwashing center. On July 28, 2010, Han Yan, director of the Domestic Security Division of the Bohai Police Station, arrested practitioner Wang Jun, who works at the Well Logging Company. Later, he led a group of policemen from the Domestic Security Division to viciously harass other practitioners. He has been doing things like this in order to get promoted and win awards.
In 2006 and 2007, Han Yan and Chang Guorong, director of the Domestic Security Division, arrested practitioner Mr. Guo Zhiwei several times and tortured him brutally. They eventually collaborated with the Renqiu Court to have Mr. Guo sentenced to a six-and-a-half-year term of imprisonment. Zhao Yujian, secretary of the Political and Legal Department of the Huabei Oil Company, and Wang Guijun, political director of the Jizhong Police Station, were key players in Mr. Guo's sentencing. They gave orders several times to persecute Falun Gong practitioners and enticed subordinates to get involved in the persecution, by offering job promotions and other rewards.
