(Clearwisdom.net) One day in July 2009 my husband's younger brother suffered from tachycardia and his heart beat rose as high as 150 beats per minute (bpm). For a normal person, if the heart pulse rate exceeds 100 bpm the person will feel flustered and uncomfortable; greater than 100 bpm is clinically dangerous, 150 bpm is a critical condition.

Our family accompanied him to the nearby outpatient department of our provincial hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Upon arrival, the doctor immediately examined him using an ECG meter and diagnosed him with sinus tachycardia. The on-duty doctor at the outpatient department gave him oxygen, and started continuous electro-cardio-graphic monitoring while supporting him with intravenous fluids. After the treatment, his heart beat gradually slowed down to 128 to 132 bpm. Only then did our family feel relief.

However, in less than 2 hours his heart rate began to accelerate and his blood pressure also became abnormal. At the request of the families, the on-duty doctor called in the director of the outpatient department and the cardiovascular specialist of the hospital. Upon further examination and with an

anti-hypertensive drug no significant improvements were seen for more than an hour. On the contrary his heart beat slowly picked up. The doctors were at their wits end and thus suggested we go to the provincial People's Hospital as soon as possible. At the time it was nearly midnight.

We arrived at the emergency department of the People's Hospital past midnight. The emergency department was packed with patients waiting for treatment. My husband's younger brother was immediately supplied with oxygen and electrocardiogram monitoring. He had another ECG recording administered. My husband's younger sister who went with him exclaimed, "Doctor, hurry, hurry, his heart rate has again jumped to 150 bpm again," after she saw the monitoring screen again.

The on-duty doctor who was treating an injury of another patient turned around and looked at my husband's younger brother when he heard her yell. He frowned and said to her in a low voice, "You saw it, the doctor saw it and everyone here saw it." In other words he wanted to say, "Don't yell any more, you might affect the condition of the other patients."

My husband's younger brother was 60. I had clarified the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong to him a few times and he also watched the video programs of the Tiananmen Square "Self-Immolation Incident," and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. He easily accepted the facts. The three members of his family quit the Chinese Communist Party and its subordinate organizations. He also gave truth-clarification pamphlets to his former classmates.

When we were at the provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I told him to recite "Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." I found that he was not listening. Now that his heart beat rebounded I went to him without hesitation, bent over to his ear and said to him in a low voice, "Hurry up, say it sincerely, 'Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!' Many people have experienced miracles and you will definitely, too."

He looked at me, nodded his head and then closed his eyes. His lips were moving. I knew that he sincerely accepted my advice. The on-duty doctor was writing advice and my family members were waiting patiently.

In less than 3 minutes, I turned around and looked at the monitoring screen. The miracle happened! The heart rate of my husband's younger brother dropped to 120/min and then fluctuated between 120 and 110 bpm. His high blood pressure significantly dropped to 117/71 mm Hg. My eyes were tearing. I knew our compassionate Teacher had saved him. A miracle did happen to my family!

About 5 minutes later the doctor of the emergency department came to the monitoring screen. He was stunned. He said to himself, "Basically he is back to normal." He asked us to take him to the emergency ward for observation before making any decisions!

On the following morning I went to the emergency ward and saw the doctor finalizing another ECG exam which showed that my brother-in-law's heart beat was 69/min and was very stable. There were no fluctuations at all. His blood pressure remained at 117/71 mm Hg as of the previous night. He said to me very happily, "I did not sleep, not even for a minute; I recited the nine words for the whole night! It proved that wishes will come true when there is sincere desire." Later, the doctor did a full examination on my brother-in-law. Everything was normal except that his blood lipids were slightly elevated.

This was more than one year ago. However, whenever I recall what had happened it is difficult to keep my mind calm. If this was not something I personally witnessed, it would be hard for me to believe.
