(Clearwisdom.net) After reading the article published on the Minghui website on September 4 about a practitioner clarifying the facts about Falun Gong in a taxi, I decided to share with you two stories about taxi drivers I have met.

Driver Refuses to Take Passengers in Order to Listen to the Truth

One day I took a taxi and the driver was a middle-aged man. On the way to my destination, I told him the facts about Falun Gong. He listened attentively. He said that he had a Falun Gong DVD about the staged "Self-immolation on Tiananmen Square," which he had kept. He also said that when he was young, his boss let him join the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) due to his excellent work, but he was reluctant to become a member. The leader even completed the form for him, and all he had to do was sign it, but he didn't. I told him about the current wave of quitting the CCP. He was moved and asked me, "Why do you think I didn't sign the form back then?" I said, "Perhaps you had precognition. Your knowing side was very rational."

It was close to noon when the taxi arrived at my place. I paid him the fare and was about to get out, but he wanted to listen more to my clarifying the truth. So I sat in the taxi and continued talking for another two hours. I was worried that he might be hungry or that I might interrupt his business, because he had to pay fees to the taxi company every day. To that, he said, "Just now people came to take my taxi. I waved them away." I saw people come knocking at the window while I was talking. The driver wanted to listen to me, so he refused to take the passengers.

I was quite moved by his realization. I let him wait for me there while I went into my home and got a few DVDs, including a DVD movie called "Shake the World." I explained what each DVD was, and he said, "These are all very precious!" I replied, "Yes, please cherish them. Please give them to your friends or relatives after you watch them." He said, "For sure I will." He drove away, sincerely grateful.

Driver Invited Me to Dinner to Hear the Truth

One day, there were some taxis waiting for passengers in the residential area where I previously lived. I took a taxi without a running permit. The driver was in his 30s. I told him the facts about Falun Gong along the way and let him wait for me for my return trip when we arrived. I gave him a pamphlet to read while he waited for me. On the way back, I continued clarifying the truth to him. When we arrived, he stopped and continued listening to me. When he learned the truth of the staged self-immolation at Tiananmen Square, he became very angry and waved his fist, cursing the CCP for deceiving him.

I was about to get out of the taxi when he said, "Why didn't I know any of this before?" I said, "Because that information is restricted." He said, "I'd like to invite you to lunch. Please tell me more." It is a good thing that people want to know the truth, but as a practitioner I could not let him spend money on me. So I said, "OK, we can have lunch here, but I will pay." He didn't agree and insisted that he would pay. I said to him, "Your income is not reliable, and you have two daughters to raise. It is not easy for you. If you don't agree that I will pay, then I will not have lunch with you." In the end he conceded, but said, "The restaurant in this area is expensive. Let's go to eat Lanzhou noodles." In the little noodle shop, I asked for a bowl of noodles for each of us. He didn't eat much and stopped. I asked him why he stopped. He said, "I will tell you later."

After I finished eating and went outside, he said, "I wasn't able to eat after I heard the facts." I was a bit moved. He continued, "I never received any salary from the CCP. It is not easy to make a living driving a taxi. The city management department will fine me 10,000 yuan if they catch me. I really hate them. But after I listened to you, I realized that the CCP is really bad." I gave him some materials and DVDs and asked him to read and watch them carefully. I said, "You will be blessed because you are very righteous."

Two days later I met him at the gate of my residential area. He said, "It's amazing. My business has been extremely good these several days. I have passengers both ways and my taxi never runs without a passenger." He said that before, at the most, he would earn 100 yuan per day even though he got up early and finished work late. But in the past two days he had earned 300 yuan each. His wife was very happy. I said to him, "You have been rewarded. You felt sorry for us after you heard the stories." He said, "Even that night I was not able to eat, and I wasn't hungry."

I met him again on several occasions. One day, he told me that every family in his residential area had received a flyer about the "three withdrawals," and everyone was talking about it. He was worried that I might not have published his quitting the CCP statement on the website, and asked, "Have you published the statement for me?" I said, "Yes, quite a while ago. If you see people distributing flyers, you'd better protect them." He said, "Yes, I know." Six months later I came across him again. He greeted me with his hands conjoined and said, "Thank you so much. I have been blessed. I have made a lot of money recently." I said, "In this residential area your taxi is the poorest, but your business is the best and you make the most money." He agreed with excitement, "That is truly the case."

I have found it easy to clarify the truth to taxi drivers because I came to know them naturally and they were not wary of me. If the driver didn't ask, I didn't need to tell them I was a Falun Gong practitioner. I relayed the facts about Falun Gong to the above two drivers without revealing that I was a Falun Gong practitioner, and neither did they ask.

Another bit of sharing is that wherever we go, we should bring a variety of materials with us so that we can select and give materials according to the needs and situations. To those who are ready to accept the truth, I normally give a variety of materials and let them know the facts from different angles, as well as inform them of the preciousness of the materials.

I met a taxi driver one day and clarified the truth to him. He didn't talk much but listened attentively. When we arrived at my destination, he said, "You spoke very well. I'd like to read those materials. Shall I pay for them?" I said, "No, but you know that really valuable things are priceless and money cannot buy them." He was moved and expressed his gratitude to me again and again. I was also touched by his awareness and gratitude. I was almost moved to tears when I opened the car door.
