(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Shi Zhipei, 49, was formerly employed by Jiutai City Vegetable Oil Company. Over the past 11 years, she has been sentenced to forced labor twice and to illegal detention twice.

In June 2000, Ms. Shi went to Beijing to appeal for the end of the persecution of Falun Gong. On her way, she was arrested in the Sanhe City Train Station in Hebei Province. After she was detained for a day, police officer Hu Jingming from the Tuanjie Police Station of Jiutai City and Yan Shoujian, the chief of the Security Section of her workplace, brought her back to Jiutai to be detained. She was released after 15 days.

On January 14, 2001, Ms. Shi and another practitioner were forcibly taken to the police department while they were distributing Falun Gong materials. When she refused to reveal the source of Falun Gong materials during interrogation, Wang Honghao, a police officer, tied her wrists and ankles to a huge steel chair. She was forced to sit in this position for the night.

The next morning, police took Ms. Shi along as they ransacked her home. Her 11-year-old daughter was so scared that she cried loudly. Her over-70-year-old father was shocked as well. The house was left a mess, and all of her Falun Gong books and materials were confiscated. Ms. Shi was then brought back to the police department. At around 3:00 p.m., Yang Xiaohui, a police officer from the Tuanjie Police Station, slapped her. At around 5:00 p.m., she was sent to the Jiutai City Detention Center.

After two days of detention, she was sent to the Changchun City Police Department in Jilin Province. She was forced to stand and was then handcuffed to a heating pipe. Then a police officer slapped her face and whipped her head with a belt. After more than 20 minutes of beating, the officer was afraid that her life was in danger and called a doctor. That night, she was not allowed to sleep. One police officer kept kicking her leg to wake her up, resulting in bruises all over her leg. The next day, she was sent to the Tiebei Detention Center in Changchun.

Thirty-seven days later, she was sent to the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp for a year of forced labor. During her detention in the labor camp, she was forced to perform labor and watch videos that defamed Falun Gong. She was released after her term expired.

On the night of March 14, 2002, several police officers from the Tuanjie Police Station, including Yang Xiaohui, broke into Ms. Shi's home with batons in their hands. They tried to arrest her, but she resisted. Then two police officers carried her off by her shoulders to forcibly remove her from her home on the 6th floor. Her clothes were pulled off and her lower back bled from from being dragged on the floor. At around 3:00 a.m., she was sent to the Jiutai City Detention Center. Ten days later, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor and sent to the Changchun Women's Forced Labor Camp.

At the forced labor camp, Ms. Shi suffered mental torture through brainwashing. She was beaten and threatened for refusing to renounce Falun Gong. She was forced to work for more than 11 hours a day. After two years, she was released.

Over the past 11 years, Ms. Shi has suffered brutal mental and physical torture. In addition, her daughter and elderly parents have been under tremendous mental pressure.
