(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 26 cities or counties in 15 provinces. In this report, 24 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 23 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Yu Cuiyun, from Ningcheng County, Chicheng City, was reported when she clarified the truth at Tiedongna Market at 5:00 p.m. on September 6, 2010. She was arrested by officers from the Tiedong Police Station and taken to a detention center. Her home was ransacked.
On the night of September 9, 2010, Ms. Yang Xiuyun was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division and taken to a detention center.
On the night of September 13, 2010, Ms. Hua Guiyun was arrested by officers from the Tianyi Town Police Station and was taken to a detention center.

Ms. Yang Cuiling, from Shanqian, Yuanbaoshan District, Chifeng City, was arrested on a bus on the afternoon of September 14, 2010.

On June 25, 2010, in the busy season of harvesting wheat, Ms. Jiang Shuping was arrested and taken to the Pingdu City 610 Office Brainwashing Center. On September 4, 2010, another busy season of autumn harvesting, the CCP committee of Yushan Town Government again arrested Ms. Jiang who was working at a kindergarten. The teaching equipment was loaded into a vehicle and taken to the government office. Then she escaped and had to stay out of town to avoid being arrested at her home again.
6. [Cao County, Shandong Province] Mr. Jiang Xuejun Brutally Beaten and Three of His Teeth Were Knocked Out
Mr. Jiang Xuejun, from Bingmalou Village, Shaguoyuan, Cao County, 42, is an employee of Bailong Cotton Plant. At 7:00 p.m. on July 15, 2010, he was arrested by police officers in plain clothes and was taken to Panshi Police Station. He was beaten and three of his teeth were knocked out. His face was deformed and he was tortured for a whole night. The next day, he was taken to Cao County Detention Center. Now he is at the Wangcun Labor Camp, Shandong Province.
7. [Shanghai] Ms. Sun Baoqin Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
Ms. Sun Yuqin, from Pudong, Shanghai, was sentenced to one year of forced labor by Pudong 610 Office agents. At present, she is held at Pudong Detention Center. It was said that her health status is very poor and her blood pressure has reached 180 mm Hg. She is emaciated and has told her daughter that she feels very ill.
8. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Crimes of Officers from Wujiagang District Police Department
Ms. Li Yonghua, was previously an accountant of Monkey King Co., Wujiagang District, Yichang City. In 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division, Wujiagang District Police Department, Yichang City. She has been held at detention centers and brainwashing centers many times.
In 2004, she was dismissed by the employer and came back to Shaodong County, Hunan Province. Zheng Xiaochang, deputy director of Wujiagang District Police Department, Yichang City, and police officers from Domestic Security Division still go to Shaodong County to harass her.
Ms. Jiang Guofang, 59 years old, was arrested by officers from the 610 Office, Domestic Security Division, Wujia District, Yichang City and was held at the Yichang Detention Center. In March 2009, she was secretly sentenced to three years in prison. She did not agree with the verdict and appealed to the intermediate court, but they also failed to uphold justice and maintained the verdict. On August 7, 2009, she was transferred to Wuhan City.
Ms. Xiang Yan and Ms. Wang Qiong have been harassed by officers from Domestic Security Division, Yichang City many times.

9. [Xupu County, Hunan Province] Mr. Wu Ligeng Held at Huaihua City Brainwashing Center
At 8:00 a.m. on September 10, 2010, six police officers together with He Guolan from Xupu County Meat Food Co. of the County Business Council, stormed into Mr. Wu Ligeng's place of residence and arrested him. Now he is detained at the Huaihua City Brainwashing Center.

11. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Lirong's Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Guo Lirong, from Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City, works at the Petroleum Administration Bureau, Qinhuangdao City. On August 18, 2010, a plainclothes police officer from the Domestic Security Division found him posting truth-clarifying materials on Gangcheng Avenue. He was arrested and taken to the Gangcheng Avenue Police Station. His home was ransacked and his personal property was taken away including the book Zhuan Falun. After four thousand yuan was extorted from his family he was allowed to return home. However, the authorities forced his family members to monitor his activities.
A few days later, the officer from the police station again called his family and told them that they would take him to a labor camp. Now his whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Chaohu City, Anhui Province] Mr. Wu Shengli Arrested
Mr. Wu Shengli, from Chuomiao Middle School, Shiyang Town, He County, was arrested by officers from Chaohu City Domestic Security Division and taken to Chaohu County Detention Center on August 31, 2010. His family was not allowed to visit. In the afternoon, officers form the He County Police Department and City Domestic Security Division, climbed the wall and stormed into his home and ransacked it.
13. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Liu Jihong and Ms. Hou Xiuying Tried
On September 3, 2010, Ms. Liu Jihong and Ms. Hou Xiuying, from Mian County, Hanzhong City, were tried at the Lueyang County Court, Shaanxi Province. Ms. Liu defended herself and pleaded not guilty. The court is in recess.
14. [Gangu County, Ganshu Province] Ms. Guo Jincai Forced to Write "Three Statements"
At 9:00 a.m. on August 24, 2010, Wang Fude, secretary of the CCP of Nanjie Village, Daxiangshan Town, Gangu County and other personnel stormed into Ms. Guo Jincai's home and asked her to write the three statements. They showed her a sample and asked her to copy one. She refused.
She has been interrogated, harassed and arrested. Before the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2009, local officers from the domestic security division and police officers stormed into her home and took away her personal property including Dafa books, deposits, cash and some other items. Then she was held at the Gangu County Addiction Treatment Center. During this period, she was required to clean the bathroom and yard and was humiliated and tortured physically and psychologically. Ten days after she was detained, one thousand yuan was extorted from her and then she was released.
15. [Wulanhaote City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Guo Lifeng Arrested
Around August 20, 2010, Ms. Guo Lifeng went to Shenyang City to do business. When she checked in at a hotel with her personal ID, she was arrested because of the online wanted system alert. Now she is held at the Wulanhaote City Detention Center.
Ms. Li Xiuzhi and Ms. Wang Ying from Anshan City are still held there.
16. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Many Practitioners Arrested and Taken to Brainwashing Centers
Officers from the Nong'an Town Government Agency and police officers operated by the Nong'an County Political and Judiciary Committee acted at the same time and arrested and harassed practitioners. According to an incomplete statistic, Ms. Liu Guifang was arrested and taken to Shengyuan Hotel Brainwashing Center by Zhang Yu, director of Huanglong Police Station. Ms. Tang Moqiu's (who was detained) father was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center by officers from the Sanbao County Police Station. Many practitioners were harassed.
17. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Jinyu Held Three Years and Her Pension Taken Away
Ms. Wang Jinyu, a retired teacher of Zhangjiang Middle School, Taoyuan County, Changde City was reported when she was clarifying the truth and persuading people to quit the CCP. On November 2, 2006, she was arrested by officers from Taoyuan County 610 Office. Now she is held at the Changde City Brainwashing Center. Before she was arrested, her pension was withheld by her employer, Zhangjiang Middle School.

18. [Chibi City, Hubei Rrovince] Mr. Zhong Xiaoming Arrested
On the afternoon of September 12, 2010, Mr. Zhong Xiaoming sent his wife home to wait for her baby to be born since she was close to her due date. At the Wuchang Railway Station, he was held when his ID was checked. On the same day, officers from Chibi City Domestic Security Division, went to Wuhan City and brought him to Chibi City. He was transferred to a detention center.
19. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Sifeng Arrested
On the morning of September 6, 2010, Mr. Zhang Sifeng was arrested by officers from Jianqiao Street Police Station and the Neighborhood Administration Office and was taken to the Hongshan District Brainwashing Center. His home was ransacked. Cash in the amount of 3000 yuan that was for his mother was also taken.
20. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Huang Guiying and Ms. Yuan Xiaojie Arrested and Taken to Masanjia Labor Camp, Shenyang City
Ms. Huang Guiying and Ms. Yuan Xiaojie were sentenced to one year of forced labor by officers from the Dalian City 610 Office and Ronghuashan Police Station, Zhuanghe City. On the morning of September 14, 2010, two practitioners were taken to the Masanjia Labor Camp, Shenyang City.
21. [Sichuan Province] Ms. Dong Yuying Tortured and Very Weak at Erehu Brainwashing Center
On April 4, 2010, Ms. Dong Yuying was arrested by police officers from Yanjiang District, Ziyang City and taken to Erehu Brainwashing Center. Because she did not give up, she is still held at the Brainwashing Center. Now she is very weak.
22. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Wu Yanduo Arrested by Plainclothes Police Officers
On the morning of September 5, 2010, Ms. Wu Yanduo, from Shenzhen City, was arrested by plainclothes police officers when she was clarifying the truth at the Shekou Park, Shenzhen City. Later, her living place at Nanshan, Shenzhen City was ransacked. Now she is held at Nanshan First Detention Center, Shenzhen City. Her cell phone was taken away by police officers. Now police officers are checking all the phone numbers stored in the cell phone.
23. [Xuanhua County, Hebei Province] Mr. Pang Yongzeng Arrested
Mr. Pang Yongzen, from Pangjiafang Village, Jiangjiatun Township, Xuanhua County, clarified the truth to military officers temporarily stationed locally from outside the village. These officers pretended to agree with him and set him up, telling him to bring them truth-clarifying brochures. Then they reported him to the Yanghenan Police Station. At 8:00 p.m., on September 12, 2010, police officers ransacked his home and took him to the Yanghenan Police Station. At present, he is still held. His father is too old and needs someone to take care of him.

24. [Gansu Province] Information about Falun Gong Practitioners Held at Labor Camps and Prisons near Lanzhou City
The number of practitioners held at labor camps and prisons near Lanzhou City are listed as follows: two in Ping'antai Labor Camp, four in Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center, over 40 in Jiuzhou City Women's Prison, and over 20 in Dashanping Prison.
25. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Min Arrested
At 9:00 a.m. on March 31, 2010, Wang Yuexin, Domestic Security Division, Nong'an County, together with Li Jinghong, a security officer from Binhe Township Police Station, stormed into Ms. Wang Min's home. She was arrested and her home ransacked. Her Dafa books were taken away. At the same time, Ms. Zhang Fengxiang, and Ms. Zhang Fenghua were also arrested. On that night, they were detained at the Nong'an County Detention Center. Ms. Zhang is held at the Nong'an County Detention Center. Ms. Wang and Ms. Zhang Fengxiang were transferred to Heizuizi Women's Labor Camp on April 14, 2010.
26. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] More Information about Mr. Ni Laijian
On September 6, 2010, Zeng Shaoqing, an officer from Zhihe Town, Pengzhou City 610 Office came to Mr. Ni Laijian and asked him to write the "three statements." He was required to promise in writing that he would not practice Falun Gong, otherwise, he would be taken to Sanshengmian Brainwashing Center, Guihua Town, Pengzhou City and forcefully brainwashed. On August 5, 2008, he was arrested by officers from the Zhihe Town Police Station and held at a detention center for fifteen days.

27. [Meishan City, Sichuan Province] Persecution of Mr. Shen Xuewen
On September, 7, 2010, Mr. Shen Xuewen was arrested and taken to Baiguolin Police Station, Chengdu City. That night, he was taken to his apartment. The apartment was ransacked, but police officers did not get anything they wanted. He was interrogated over night till the second morning, and later he was taken to the 505 Factory's guest quarters. Three days later, he was released.
28. [Sha City, Hubei Province] Ms. Liu Ying Missing For Many Years
Ms. Liu Ying, in her fifties, twice went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. In 2002, she gave a certificate of deposit to a practitioner. Then she went to Beijing the third time. Since then, her whereabouts have been unknown.
29. [Henan Province] New Round of Persecution Towards Falun Gong Practitioners by Zhoukou City 610 Office
Since the end of August 2010, with methods of arresting and holding sessions in brainwashing centers, Zhoukou City 610 Office carried out a new round of persecution towards Falun Gong practitioners.
At 10:00 a.m., on August 24, 2010, eight police officers from the Domestic Security Division, Zhoukou City, stormed into Mr. Qin Xuexian and Ms. Guo Fengqin's home. The two people were not present. Police officers searched their home until noon. They took away a satellite receiver and other property. The couple could not return home and had to stay elsewhere to avoid being arrested.
On the morning of August 31, 2010, seven police officers including Gao Feng, from Zhoukou City Domestic Security Division stormed into Mr. Sun Zhanping and Ms. Li Changying's home. They ransacked the home and took property. Then the couple was arrested and taken to the Zhoukou City Detention Center.
On the afternoon of September 10, 2010, an officer of Yaotan Village, Libukou Township, Chuanhui District, went to Mr. Yao Shangling's home, who is in his sixties, and ordered him to attend a meeting. Before the next morning, police officers went to his home and ransacked it. They planned to arrest him but failed because he was not at home.
30. [Fanxiang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Bo Passed Away as a Result of Long-term Persecution
Mr. Chen Bo, was born on April 5, 1969. He was an employee of Cheqiao Factory, Xiangfan City, Hubei Province.
On October 1, 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was taken back to his hometown and held at the Xiangfan City Second Detention Center for a month. Later he was taken to a brainwashing center.
In January 2003, he was arrested by officers from Fancheng Police Department, Xiangfan City, and was detained for fifteen days. Because he did not give up his belief, on July 10, 2004, he was again arrested and his home was ransacked by officers from the Domestic Security Division. He was criminally detained at the Xiangfan City Second Detention Center. On July 15, 2004, he was taken to the Shayang Labor Camp.
At the Shayang Labor Camp, he was tortured in ways that are unimaginable including being beaten with an electric baton, and having his mouth pried open when he was on a hunger strike. Several teeth were knocked out because of this. He was forced to wear shackles. After scabs formed on his ankles because of the shackles, two drug-addicted inmates, ordered by guards, pushed him to the ground and tore off the scabs. They also used leaves with thorns to cut away at his injuries and the scabs were brutally torn off. He screamed because of the severe pain. One year of torture and labor injured him spiritually and physically.
In July 2005, when he returned home, he was still threatened, harassed, and traumatized by police officers who came to his home frequently.
Under the constant pressure, he was unable to recover. On February 26, 2010, he passed away, leaving his wife and daughter.
