(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Shang Shuxia was reported by an informant when she distributed informational VCDs in a residential building on May 1, 2009. Assistant Director Qi Yuejun of the Nankang Police Station led a group of officers to arrest Shang Shuxia. At the time, she fainted and because she was diagnosed with having heart disease at a hospital, they had to release her.
However, Qi Yuejun harassed Shang Shuxia frequently afterwards. Qi Yuejun’s daughter attended the school at which Shang Shuxia taught. So, Shang Shuxia asked Qi’s daughter for his phone number in order to clarify the truth to him. Qi Yuejun used that as an excuse to lead seven police officers to the front door of Shang Shuxia’s home at 9:00 a.m. on November 22, 2010. When Shang Shuxia opened her door, they immediately broke into her home, and ransacked it without showing any documents. They stole a computer, two cellphones, and a printer. They then dragged Shang Shuxia from the 6th floor to the 1st floor.
The police officers took Ms. Shang to a detention center that afternoon. On the 15th day after the arrest, the police sent Shang Shuxia to Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp for 21 months.
Shang Shuxia’s family visited her at Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp on December 16. The 3rd Brigade leader deprived her family of their right to visit using the excuse that Shang Shuxia did not cooperate.
