(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 5 provinces. In this report, 21 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Qianan County, Jilin Province] Mr. Yu Guofeng Sent to Forced Labor Camp
At around 9:00 a.m. on November 24, 2010, Mr. Yu Guofeng, a resident of Zhengzi Village, Qianan County was reported to police because he talked to people about Falun Gong. He was arrested by officers from the Qianan Third Police Station and taken to a detention center. On December 7, 2010, he was sent to the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai for an 18-month term.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Chuang Persecuted at Xihu Prison in Benxi, Liaoning Province
Mr. Li Chuang was a teacher at the Shenyang 20th High School. In 2009, the police from Heping District arrested him. Later on he was sentenced to prison at Xihu Prison in Benxi, Liaoning Province. Recently, he was beaten by the prison guards and confined in a small cell.
3. [Tianjin] Ms. Dong Huiyue Arrested
At around 9:00 a.m. on January 10, 2011, Ms. Dong Huiyue from Ninghe County, Tianjin was arrested and then sent to a detention center.

4. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Sun Zhaohai Confined to a Small Cell in Lanzhou Prison Since August 2010
5. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Chen Guifang Followed and Monitored by Police
Ms. Chen Guifang was released from the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center in April 2010. Since then police from the Caochangjie Police Station, the Domestic Security Team, and the Police Department has often dispatched people to follow, monitor and harass Ms. Chen Guifang. Whenever she leaves her home, a gray car follows her. Someone follows her even when she does her grocery shopping.
6. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Qian Houming Sent to Wuchang Brainwashing Center in Heilongjiang Province
Mr. Qian Houming was a surgeon of the Shazhong Second Hospital in Daqing. He has been repeatedly persecuted because he practices Falun Gong. He was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment and was brutally tortured at Hulan Prison in Heilongjiang Province. He was released in 2009. But because he did not write a “letter of apology” to renounce Falun Gong at the end of 2010, he was sent to the Wuchang Brainwashing Center in Heilongjiang Province.
7. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Dageng Subjected to Brainwashing Session
On the morning of December 31, 2010, Yang Wenfang and four or five people from the Tangfeng Township Office of Justice in Shenzhou broke into the home of Mr. Zhang Dageng in Zhangtun Village. Mr. Zhang was taken to the brainwashing session held by the Shenzhou 610 Office.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Xiuxia Persecuted in Heizuizi Prison
Ms. Sun Xiuxia is being detained in Heizuizi Prison. The guards have ordered several prisoners to watch Ms. Sun Xiuxia around the clock. So as to not allow her to sleep, they forced her to stand against the wall. Ms. Sun's legs were swollen from standing for so long and other parts of her body also became swollen.
On September 29, 2009, several officers took Mr. Wang Zhihong and his wife Ms. Sun Xiuxia away from their home to the Erdao District 610 Office and the Jinqian Police Station. Mr. Wang was detained in the Shuangyang Third Detention Center. On October 21, 2010, without any legal basis, the Erdao District Court held a court session to try them. Mr. Wang was sentenced to three years in prison and on December 20, 2010, he was sent to Jilin Second Prison. Ms. Sun was sentenced to ten years in prison and sent to Heizuizi Women's Prison in Changchun.
9. [Bijie City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Zhong Yimei Arrested
Ms. Zhong Yimei is 31 years old, and a teacher at the Bijie Vocational School. On January 5, 2011, she was arrested and her home was ransacked. The police took away her computer, printer, cell phone, Falun Dafa books, cash, and other materials. Now Ms. Zhong is being detained in the Bijie Detention Center.

On the night of January 8, 20111, Ms. Cai Xiuying, Ms. Han Shuju and Ms. Lao Jin drove to a rural area to distribute Falun Gong materials. They were reported to police and arrested. Now Ms. Cai has been released. The others' whereabouts are unknown.

13. [Liangshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lu Yuancui and Other Practitioners Sentenced
On November 30, 2010, the Liangshan Intermediate Court upheld the Xichang Court's sentences on Ms. Lu Yuancui, Ms. Xia Huiqiong, and other practitioners. Ms. Lu Yuancui and Ms. Xia Huiqiong were sentenced to five years in prison; 71-year-old Ms. Gao Deyu, 12 years; Ms. He Xianzhen and Ms. Cheng Donglan, 10 years; Ms. He Zhengqiong, 7 years; Ms. Su Lijuan from Miyi, 6 years; and Ms. Feng Juan, five and a half years.

14. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Guan Shuyun Unable to Take Care of Herself as a Result of Persecution at Heilongjiang Women's Prison
Ms. Guan Shuyun is being isolated and confined in Heilongjiang Women's Prison. Since January 2007, she has been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She would not wear a prison uniform and the officers forcibly tied her to a bed and cut her hair short. As a result of the abuse, Ms. Guan can no longer take care of herself. She is incontinent and looks frail; her life is in dire peril.
15. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Jiang Guobo Persecuted
Mr. Jiang Guobo has been arrested thirteen times by the Communist regime for practicing Falun Gong. On February 27, 2009, he was arrested and later sentenced to five years imprisonment at Jinan Prison. Now as a result of the persecution, he has become very thin. He has been transferred to Nanshan Hospital in Jinan City, Shandong Province.
16. [Chongqing City] Ms. Huang Yonggui Unconscious as a Result of Persecution
On January 8, 2011, the police took Ms. Huang Yonggui from Wanzhou District to the Baiyan Police Station. She was brutally tortured, and later sent to Wanzhou Third Hospital for emergency treatment. To date she is still unconscious, and her situation is dire.
In 2001, Ms. Huang Yonggui was detained for brainwashing for 20 months in the guest house of the Wanzhou Local Tax Bureau.
In 2004, Ms. Huang Yonggui was again detained for brainwashing at the guest house of the Wanzhou Local Tax Bureau and the Jingkou Brainwashing Center in Chongqing for one year.
In September 2008, the police broke into the home of Ms. Huang Yonggui and took away a laptop computer. On May 11, 2009, the police called Ms. Huang Yonggui to retrieve her computer. As soon as Ms. Huang arrived, she was taken to the Lijiahe Drug Rehabilitation Center in Wanzhou District. On May 25, 2009, she was sent to the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp for a 15-month term. She was released in August 2010.

17. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Chengfeng Detained in Dashan Detention Center

On the afternoon of January 6, 2011, Ms. Jing Xuehong, Ms. Huang Bo, Ms. Li Yinge, and Ms. Liu Qiaomei drove through Xingping City. They were arrested by the Xingping Police Department.
19. [Lishu County, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Kaiping Persecuted in Jilin Prison
On April 24, 2008, officers from the Gongzhuling Police Department arrested Mr. Zhang Kaiping from Xiaochengzi Town. On August 21, 2008, the Gongzhuling Court sentenced him to five years in prison. On December 22, 2008, officers took him back to the Lishu Detention Center from the Lishu Police Department. On January 23, 2009, the Lishu Court extended his term by three years. Now he is being detained in Jilin Prison.
On December 17, 2010, Wang Yuanchun and two other guards from Jilin Prison took him to the “transformation” session from the first division. Wang Yuanchun ordered criminals to take turns to watch him. He was not allowed to sleep for 24 hours and forced to sit on ground, without moving or talking.
20. [Shanghai] Ms. Rong Zongfang Arrested
On the night of January 4, 2011, Ms. Rong Zongfang was reported to police while talking to people about Falun Gong. Officers from the Gulu Police Station arrested her. Now she is being detained in the Pudongxin District Lockup Center.
21. [Botou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wei Jingmin Becomes Homeless as a Result of Persecution
Ms. Wei Jingmin was recently released on bail. At the beginning of 2011, Botou Domestic Security agents harassed Ms. Wei Jingmin, and the police took away a printer and other equipment. Ms. Wei was forced to become homeless to avoid further persecution.

22. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Many Practitioners Detained in Chatou Forced Labor Camp
The following practitioners are being constantly persecuted in the Chatou Forced Labor Camp: Ms. Zeng Libo, Ms. Zhong Fengyan, Mr. Gu Zhiming, Ms. Liu Yue, Ms. Tan Yansheng, Ms. Hou Yueping, and Ms. Li Jing.
The following practitioners are being made to do forced labor: Mr. Xiang Hongwei, Ms. Lu Liping, Ms. Zheng Yingying, Ms. Deng Jinlian, Ms. Liang Huixian, Ms. Wu Liwan, Ms. Luo Chunhong, Ms. Zhang Lixia, Ms. Zhou Xuexia, Ms. Lei Wen, Mr. Zhang Runchuan, Ms. Ren Qiuhong, Ms. Wang Zhen, and others.
23. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Kong Yujie Persecuted
Ms. Kong Yujie is being brutally persecuted in the Tianhe District Detention Center in Guangzhou. She has gone on a hunger strike for more than one month in order to protest her detention. She has become very thin. The guards put shackles on her and did not allow her to practice the Falun Gong exercises. She was also brutally beaten.
On July 23, 2010, officers from the Xinghuajie Police Station in Tianpingjia, Guangzhou arrested Ms. Kong. Ms. Li Guanping and Mr. Chen Chunlin were also arrested with Ms. Kong. Mr. Chen was sent to the Guangzhou First Labor Camp for a two-year term. Ms. Li Guanping and Ms. Kong Yujie are still being detained in the Tianhe District Detention Center.
24. [Longhua County, Hebei Province] Ms. Ning Xiufen Persecuted
Ms. Ning Xiufen went to Tiananmen Square to appeal for Falun Gong on July 20, 1999. Several officers pushed her into a police vehicle and sent her to the Tiananmen Police Department. Later on she was transferred to the Beijing Office of Longhua. The next morning, she was handcuffed and taken back to the Longhua Police Department. She was released after her family was forced to pay 2,500 yuan.
In June or July 2001, a group of plainclothes policemen took Ms. Ning to a brainwashing center and detained her for 11 days. She was sent home after paying a 200-yuan “boarding fee.”
25. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Mr. Luo Xiangjiang Detained in Jinshi Prison in Changde City, Hunan Province
Mr. Luo Xiangjiang was secretly sent to the Third Division of Jinshi Prison in Changde City, Hunan Province. Now he is being made to do forced labor. He has become very thin.
Mr. Xie Wangming and Mr. Zhang Junjie (who is in his 70s) are also both detained in Jinshi Prison.
