In this report, seventeen Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least twelve practitioners were illegally arrested

1. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Hongxing Detained at No. 3 Detention Center in Daqing

In the early afternoon of December 17, 2010, practitioner Mr. Wang Hongxing, a teacher at the No. 17 High School in Daqing City, was arrested by police officers of the Babaishang Public Security Sub-bureau, and taken to the No. 3 Detention Center in Daqing.

2. [Lishu County, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Kaiping Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Zhang Kaiping, a practitioner in Xiaochengzi Town, Lishu County, was imprisoned in Jilin Prison and taken to a brainwashing center on December 17, 2010.

3. [Fushun, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jin Chengzhe and Ms. Wen Qifeng Held at Fushun Detention Center

On August 22, 2010, practitioners Mr. Jin Chengzhe (about 36 years old) and Ms. Wen Qifeng from Liuer Village, Lishi Development Zone, went out to distribute Falun Gong materials. Police officers stopped and interrogated them. They found them carrying massive amounts of materials, and thus arrested and tortured them. Jin Chengzhe and Wen Qifeng are currently held at the Fushun Detention Center, and their family is not allowed to visit them.

4. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Shuzhen Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Yang Shuzhen from Wukong Temple, Songgezhuang Village, Laishui County clarified the truth about Falun Gong at the Zhangfang market on December 18, 2010. She was arrested and tortured by the chief of the Zhangfang Security Brigade, as well as others.

5. [Fanshi County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Liu San Arrested in Taiyuan City

On December 15, 2010, practitioner Ms. Liu San from Fanshi County was arrested by police officers from the Xiaojingyu Police Station. She was taken to the detention center in Taiyuan City, where she was tortured.

6. [Tianjin] Ms. Kong Defeng and Ms. Gao ChunE Detained

On the morning of December 16, 2010, practitioners Ms. Kong Defeng and Ms. Gao ChunE of Bohai Petroleum Company, Tanggu, Tianjin were reported when they were talking to people about Falun Gong near Laowan Road in Tanggu. They were arrested by police officers from the Laowan Road Police Station. Their homes were ransacked that same afternoon. Currently, they are detained in the Zhaojiadi Detention Center in Tanggu.

7. [Changyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Xiuhua from Gaoyang Village Arrested

On the night of December 17, 2010, police officers from the Qinglong County Public Security Bureau arrested practitioners Ms. Zhang Liying, Ms. Shao Wenhui, Mr. Liu Weijun and Ms. Xie Xiaoying.

9. [Linquan County, Anhui Province] Ms. Liu Zhanglan and Ms. Guo Min Injected With Unidentified Drugs

Practitioner Ms. Liu Zhanglan of Tanpeng Town, Linquan County was arrested by police officers in March 2010. During her detention, agents from the 610 Office injected her with unknown drugs. Her limbs are currently not functioning well and she is critically ill.

Practitioner Ms. Guo Min of Tanpeng Town, Linquan County was arrested on October 13, 2010. During her incarceration, she suffered from torture and injection of unidentified drugs by personnel of the 610 Office. Presently, she is not feeling normal mentally and is behaving erratically.

10. [Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xue and Others Suffering Mistreatment in Shandong Province Prison for Women

The following practitioners from Jiaozhou, Shandong are detained in the Shandong Province Prison for Women, and are suffering mistreatment: Ms. Li Xue, Ms. Li Shiying, Ms. Hei Jianfeng, Ms. Liu Jinmei, Ms. Wei Xiuju, Ms. Song GuiE and others. They were put into a brainwashing center and tortured. Li Xue and others conducted a hunger strike to protest their mistreatment, and are currently emaciated.

11. [Yuzhou City, Henan Province] Mr. Wang Huimin and Ms. Zhu Hong Detained at Yuzhou City Detention Center

On December 2, 2010, police officers from Yuzhou City's Domestic Security Division seized practitioners Mr. Wang Huimin and Ms. Zhu Hong, ransacked their home, and put them into the city's detention center.

Mr. Song Xiwen from Linying County is over 50 years old. His home was ransacked and he was taken away on December 16, 2010 by police officers from the Linying Domestic Security Division and Chengli Police Station.

13. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Bao Zhiyin Taken to Macheng City Detention Center

On December 21, 2010, practitioner Ms. Bao Zhiyin from Macheng City and others talked to people about Falun Gong in Zhangjiafan. They were reported and arrested at around 6:00 p.m. They were mercilessly tortured, handcuffed and interrogated by police officers. One practitioner has been released, and Bao Zhiyin has been taken to the Macheng City Detention Center.

14. [Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Wang Jianying and Mr. Tang Jirong Sentenced

Practitioners Ms. Wang Jianying and Mr. Tang Jirong from Zhenxiong County, Zhaotong City have been sentenced to one and a half years and two years, respectively.

15. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Yang Zhiwen Arrested

After 3:00 p.m. on December 17, 2010, practitioner Mr. Yang Zhiwen of Zushan Town, Qinglong County, Qinhuangdao City was arrested at home by local police officers, and detained at the Qinglong County Detention Center.

16. [Inner Mongolia] 70-year-old Ms. Cao Yuzhi Suffers Mistreatment

Since September 30, 2009, practitioner Ms. Cao Yuzhi (70 years old) from Moridaga Town, Eerguna City has been arrested and held for five days in detention. Her home was ransacked by the police from the Moridaga Public Security Bureau. After Ms. Cao returned home, the police continued to harass her, and she was forced to become homeless in order to avoid further persecution.

After Cao Yuzhi returned home, Wu Zhenbin and five others from the Moridaga Hongqi Tree Farm and the 610 Office went to her home again on November 26, 2010. They tried to force her to give up her belief in Falun Dafa, and said that if she didn't renounce Falun Gong, they would arrest her and send her to the brainwashing center.
