Retribution for Crimes of Hengshui City 610 Office Agents

October 14, 2011 |   By a Clearwisdom correspondent in Hebei Province, China

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors’ Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely “following orders,” the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Agents from the Hengshui City 610 Office in Hebei Province have tortured practitioners in many ways during the past 12 years. Because of his active role in the persecution, Ji Lijian was promoted from deputy head to head of the 610 Office, and then to deputy head of the Hengshui City Political and Judicial Bureau. He personally supervised the persecution throughout Hengshui City, which consists of one district and ten counties.

1. Evildoing of Hengshui City 610 Office Agents

More than 50 incidents have taken place since mid-March earlier this year, in which Hengshui City practitioners were arrested, detained, sent to forced labor camps, or imprisoned. Below are some cases:

Disabled woman detained

Ms. Wang Yulan, a disabled farmer in Anping County, was arrested on October 15, 2010, and later sentenced. She is currently being detained at the county detention center.

The disability had stiffened Ms. Wang's arms, which she could not bend. She had difficulty eating, washing herself, wearing and putting on clothes, and using the toilet. Her daughter (arrested at the same time and being held in the same detention facility) took care of her when she used the toilet. Despite her disability, Hengshui City 610 Office agents have detained her for nearly a year.

Regime officials extort money

610 Office agents arrested Fucheng County practitioner Ms. Zhang Hongli on July 29, 2011, and held her at the Hengshui Brainwashing Center for one month. She was released after 30,000 yuan was extorted from her family. 610 Office agents also arrested her husband Mr. Wang Shihong in mid-August 2011, extorted 60,000 yuan, and released him in early September.

Agents from the 610 Office arrested Fan, a practitioner in Xi Village, Wangji Town, Fucheng County, on September 1, 2011. They released the practitioner after extorting more than 10,000 yuan.

When Taocheng District practitioner Ms. Liu Lanying and her daughter Chen Xiaoyan were distributing truth-clarification materials on Yongxing Road in the Development Zone at 9:00 a.m. on August 4, local Domestic Security Division officials arrested them and sent them to a detention center that same night. 610 Office officials later extorted 20,000 yuan from the family and released them.

Arrests

Taocheng District practitioner Mr. Wang Jinling is an employee of the Hengshui Housing Authority. He and his wife Ms. Xing Mingru have been harassed since the persecution started in July 1999. After the couple decided to stay away from home in 2001, 610 Office agents searched for them and followed them. The couple returned home in 2007.

Housing Authority officials called Mr. Wang on August 6, 2011, telling him to go back to work. The next day, agents from the Hezhuang Police Station arrested him and detained him for 15 days.

Under orders from the Hengshui 610 Office, Domestic Security Division agents arrested Mr. Wang on the morning of August 26, 2011, on his way to work. More than one month has passed, yet officials have still not told his family where he is being detained.

610 Office head Ji Lijian should be responsible for this. Mr. Wang is the brother-in-law of Ji Lijian's best friend.

2. Many Agents Holding the Position of 610 Office Head Have Died from Retribution for Their Crimes

During the past several years, more and more retribution cases have been seen for 610 Office agents, their family members, police officers, and others who persecuted practitioners. More than 10,000 such incidents have been exposed on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net).

Among these, nearly 500 are related to retribution experienced by 610 Office agents. The head and deputy head in many 610 Offices have died. Since this is very common, a 610 Office head is also called a “death position.” Below are some examples.

Yu Yuejin, Laiyang City 610 Office head in Shandong Province, died of a stroke on April 20, 2011, at the age of 54. Since becoming the 610 Office head in 1999, Yu has severely persecuted practitioners, including holding brainwashing sessions for nine years, between 2001 and 2009. He also brutally beat practitioners in person. For example, he once grabbed young ophthalmologist Ms. Ma Qingchun by her hair, hit her on the head, face, and chest, yelling, “I will kill you.”

Wang Zhongjun, Ding'an County 610 Office head in Hainan Province, once said, “You have talked about retribution, but I have not seen it. I have arrested many practitioners and I am still all right.” Within one month, his only son died of poisoning from a gas leak, and his wife committed suicide on May 8, 2004.

Zhang Shiming, Huanggang City 610 Office head in Hubei Province, died of a sudden heart attack on February 14, 2005, at the age of 48. His successor, Wang Kewu, was diagnosed of liver cancer and died in early April 2005.

Li Qun, Yakeshi City 610 Office head in Inner Mongolia, died of cancer. His successor Lin Haiqing developed an incurable illness and became unable to work.

When Wang Funian, Meihekou City 610 Office head in Jilin Province, and other 610 Office agents (Zhou and Liu Peng) went to arrest practitioners on November 8, 2004, their car was involved in an accident and turned upside down. Wang, Liu, and Zhou died on site. Another person was injured and hospitalized.

When Men Yijing, Qingyang County 610 Office head and Bai Qweiquan in Gansu Province drove to supervise the persecution of Falun Gong on January 8, 2003, they were involved in a car accident and both died.

Since May of this year, Minghui has reported several incidents of retribution for 610 Office agents due to their persecution of Falun Gong. Below are some examples.

Ma Sujun, former head of the Xinmi City 610 Office in Henan Province, was responsible for monitoring, following, and arresting several practitioners, and defaming Falun Gong. Ma was diagnosed with many illnesses at age 46, including a malignant tumor and diabetes. He died in pain.

Not long after Sun Baoyuan, Yanshan County 610 Office head in Hebei Province, was appointed to this position, he made a plan for the year of how to persecute Falun Gong. It includes recruiting informants, monitoring practitioners closely, setting a goal of reforming practitioners, increasing the budget for the persecution, and rewarding agencies for their persecution accomplishments. Right after one new round of persecution started, Sun hit a truck with his car on May 30. He died at the age of 44.

Liu Wang, 610 Office agent at Xiawuqi Town in Tianjin City, once yelled while beating Falun Gong practitioners, “I will beat you, even if I live ten years less.” Not long after, Liu felt uncomfortable and died on the way to the county hospital. He was 47 years old.

Political and Judicial Committee head Zhou Weihua in Dawu County, Hubei Province, participated in arresting practitioners and ransacking their homes. He was involved in the beatings of many practitioners and the extortion of several hundred practitioners. His house burned on June 12 this year and was a total loss. He was severely injured and hospitalized.

Li Zhihua, Tahe County 610 Office head in Heilongjiang Province, led others to inject practitioner Ms. Gao Shuying with toxic substances, and sent her to the Beian Mental Hospital. When Ms. Gao woke up, she found herself tied up naked in a bed, with legs apart. She was force-fed unknown substances twice daily, and additional drugs were added to her food. Li died of liver cancer in June 2010.

Hou Congli, Pingshan County 610 Office head in Hebei Province, was born in 1962 and appointed to this position in April 2011. Working with former 610 Office head Wang Genting, he held brainwashing sessions in the Lizhuang Barracks, the Experimental School, the Magnesium Plant, and the former Wentang Town government. Hou sent practitioners to these brainwashing centers, physically tortured them, and extorted money from them. After his bad deeds were exposed on Minghui, local and international practitioners called him and clarified the truth. He said he was always nervous when answering those phone calls. Not long after being appointed to this position, he had a heart attack, and had surgery to implant a heart stent.

Yang Hongwei, Laocheng District 610 Office head in Luoyang City, Henan Province, persecuted practitioners many times and ordered local officials to arrest practitioners. They kept these practitioners under house arrest for several days and extorted money from family members. They also arrested a father and son practitioners in Mangshan. Yang died on August 25 in a hospital, and doctors could not determine the cause.

The above evidence shows that being in the position of 610 Office head is risky, and has a high mortality rate. Many people thus avoid this position.
