(Clearwisdom.net) Editors’ note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely “following orders,” the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Jia Lichao, Chief of the Police Station in Xinji City, Hebei Province, Received Karmic Retribution

Jia Lichao is the chief of Nanzhiqiu Police Station, in Xinji City, Hebei Province. He lives in Unit 2, Building 3 of Xinyuanxiao District. For more than ten years, Jia Lichao was the leader in the local persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. He was a police officer at the public security department and helped Geng Zhangfeng and Geng Chao abuse and harass many practitioners. Jia set up a torture chamber in the home of practitioners Chen Xibu, Chen Xijian, Zhang Zhe, and Chen Su. After torturing and extorting money and personal property from them, Jia illegally sentenced them to seven and eight years in prison. Jia also brutally tortured practitioners Zhang Tongyi and Zhang Tongjian.

Jia Lichao was soon promoted to domestic security deputy chief as a reward for his actions. In 2003, Jia followed Geng Chao to intensify the persecution. They arrested numerous practitioners, ransacked their homes, extorted money from them, and sent them to forced labor camps and brainwashing centers to “transform” them. Later Jia became the chief of Nanzhiqiui Police Station.

Shortly before the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Jia went on a rampage to make arrests. In less than a month, numerous practitioners were arrested in the township of Nanzhiqiu. Wang Zhipu, Lu Qing, Yang Zhiyun were sentenced to three years in prison. Cao Yingbin, Wei Jie, and Cai Zengcai were sent to forced labor camps. Cai Maolin, Wang Manzhen, and Cai Chunmian were arrested and had money extorted from them. Other practitioners were harassed and their homes were ransacked. Jia later became the director of Zhanqian Police Station. He did not repent and continued to arrest practitioners.

Jia's hands have been stained with the blood of Falun Gong practitioners. He has committed countless, unforgivable crimes. These incidents of persecution have been recorded on the Clearwisdom website. Practitioners have been writing letters to ask Jia to stop the persecution, and explained to him the possible consequences of his actions. Jia, however, has refused to listen.

Good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evil acts will meet due retribution. Jia Lichao, in his 30s, now has dead femoral bone tissue. He has spent 140,000 yuan on an operation and is using crutches to walk. Most likely he will depend on the crutches or a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

Chief and Deputy Chief of the Public Security Department of Jiujiang County, Jianxi Province, Being Detained and Interrogated by the CCP

Wu Zhengyang, the chief of the Jiujiang County Public Security Department, and Lu Longlai, the deputy chief of the department and the head of the local 610 Office, were both detained and interrogated by the CCP on October 17, 2011. (This was part of a disciplinary measure used on Party members by the CCP outside the regular legal system.)

In 1999, Wu Zhengyang was working for the Public Security Department in the Lushan District, Hukou County, and actively harassed and mistreated Falun Gong practitioners.

Lu Longlai was the second Jiujiang County 610 Office chief. Because he was deceived by the CCP's lies and propaganda, he thought that “Falun Gong was against the government and needed to be suppressed.” During his term, he arrested, incarcerated, and sent many practitioners to forced labor camps. He had also yelled and slapped a practitioner who wrote him a letter to tell him the truth about Falun Gong.

After practitioners' continuous efforts to clarify the truth to Wu and Lu, they gradually understood the facts and did not harm practitioners in the last two years.

However, they, too, must be held responsible for they have done. Considering their previous actions, being detained and interrogated is a light punishment.

Li Jianhua was the first chief of the Jiujiang County 610 Office. In order to protect his own self-interests, he abused and tortured practitioners severely. Li Jianhua was directly and indirectly involved in the deaths of several practitioners from Jiujiang County, including Zhang Maoxing, Fei Weidong, and others. Practitioners tried to clarify the truth to him, but he continued to persecute them. At the age of 45, Li Jianhua died from massive internal bleeding, leaving his grieving family behind.

Doing good deeds will receive good rewards, and bad deeds will be met with retribution. It's not a question of "if" but a matter of "when." The divine are compassionate but rule with solemnity and dignity. We hope that the law enforcement officers learn from these lessons and do not commit acts that could endanger themselves and their families.

Ding Xingnan, former section chief of the Yingzhou District Legal System Branch in Fuyang City, Anhui Province, has persecuted practitioners and sent many of them to forced labor camps. He is suffering from late stage lung cancer.

Wang Yuxin, chief of Jinxiang County Domestic Security Department in Shandong Province, in his 40s, has been actively persecuting practitioners since 1999. On several occasions when the labor camps refused to accept practitioners due to their poor physical health, Wang Yuxing continued to bribe the guards at the labor camp and persuaded them to take the practitioners. Despite practitioners' regular efforts to write letters and make phone calls to him to clarify the truth, Wang Yuxin refused to listen.

Recently, Wang Yuxin went to the county hospital for a nose ailment, but there was no improvement. He got a second opinion at Jinan Hospital, and the doctor said he has cancer of the nose. Each treatment costs about 40,000 to 50,000 yuan, and there is no guarantee that he will be cured after four to five treatments.
