(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties and in 11 provinces. In this report, 17 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 19 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Li Huiyan is currently incarcerated at the Beizhai Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Zhong Ruihong and Ms. Wang Cailian are being held at the Dashan Detention Center.
2. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Shuqin Missing
On October 26, 2011, Ms. Zhang Shuqin was arrested by officers from the Hongsheng Police Station and released at around 3:00 p.m. that afternoon. On the evening of November 8, Ms. Zhang boarded a train to Harbin. Her family has not heard from her since.
3. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Detained
On the evening of November 20, 2011, Ms. Yu Xiuhua, Ms. Cao Meili, Ms. Yu Qing, and Mr. Zhao Wenkai were reported by a villager while distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Dongxiangu Village, Jugezhuang Town, Muping District, Yantai City. They were later arrested by officers from the Jugezhuang Police Station. Several officers, led by chief Yang Yinghai from the Domestic Security Division of the Muping District Police Sub-Bureau, interrogated the arrested practitioners.
Mr. Zhao is being held at the Muping District Detention Center. Ms. Yu Xiuhua, Ms. Cao Meili, and Ms. Yu Qing are being held at the Fushan District Women's Detention Center.

Ms. Qi Yanhui, Ms. Wang Shuzhen, and Mr. Li Bo are from Jilin City, Jilin Province. They traveled to Hangzhou and were arrested by officers from the West Lake Police Sub-Bureau. They are being held at the Hangzhou City Detention Center.

6. [Inner Mongolia] Ms. Guan Yujie Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Guan Yujie is a teacher at the Taipusi Banner No. 2 Elementary School in Xilin Gol League. On November 13, 2011, she was taken to a brainwashing center by officers from the local 610 Office and police station.

7. [Yanbian Prefecture, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Xiaomin Arrested
On the afternoon of November 9, 2011, officers from the Hunchun City 610 Office arrested Ms. Wang Xiaomin and ransacked her home.
Ms. Wang, 43, is an employee of the Chunhua Forest Farm. In May of 2010, she was taken to a brainwashing center by officers from the 610 Office in the Hunchun City Forestry Bureau. The officers threatened that she would be fired from her job and sentenced to forced labor if she refused to renounce Falun Gong. In the summer of 2011, management from the Forest Farm and officers from the 610 Office in the Hunchun City Forestry Bureau again attempted to force Ms. Wang to renounce Falun Gong. When she refused, they transferred her to a different position.

9. [Weifang City, Jilin Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Mr. Shen Huaiwei
Mr. Shen Huaiwei is from Shenjiaying Village, Nansun Town, Hanting District, Weifang City. He had been working odd jobs in another city. At the end of September 2011, he was arrested by officers from the Nansun Police Station, and his home was ransacked. Only recently was his family notified that he is being held at the Weifang Detention Center.
10. [Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wei Hongsheng Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Wei Hongsheng was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison. She is being held at the Nantong Women's Prison.
11. [Binzhou City, Hunan Province] Additional Information on the Arrests of Ms. Xiang Huaixiang and Mr. Wu Xiaowei
On July 19, 2010, Ms. Xiang Huaixiang, in her 60's, was arrested by officers from the Binzhou Domestic Security Division. Police officers ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a DVD writer, 17,100 yuan in cash, and other personal belongings. Between November 5, 2010 and April 7, 2011, Ms. Xiang was put on trial four times at the Suxian District Court. She was sentenced to seven years in prison and later taken to the Changsha Women's Prison.
Mr. Wu Xiaowei, 62, is a retired worker from the Binzhou Railroad Company. On August 20, 2001, he was arrested by officers from the Binzhou Domestic Security Division. A group of officers ransacked his home and confiscated a computer, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings.
12. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Nengfang and Mr. He Fei Sentenced to Prison
On September 3, 2011, Ms. Wang Nengfang and Mr. He Fei were reported while speaking with people about Falun Gong in Liulang Town, Xunxi County, Shiyan City. They were arrested by chief Wang Youkun and several officers from the Xunxi Police Department and taken to the Xunxi Detention Center. During their detention, Mr. He went on a hunger strike for ten days and Ms. Wang was force-fed. They were both deprived of family visitation.
The Xunxi County Court secretly tried Ms. Wang and Mr. He on October 20 and October 31, respectively, without notifying their families. Ms. Wang was sentenced to four years in prison. Mr. He was sentenced to three years in prison. They both appealed to the Shiyan Intermediate Court.

13. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Si Deli Facing Trial
On June 7, 2011, Mr. Si Deli, in his 50's, was deceived into entering a car and then arrested by officers from the Xinyang Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office. Police officers broke into his home and ransacked it. They confiscated several computers, printers, and other personal belongings. The police tortured Mr. Si in an attempt to extract a false confession from him. Mr. Si is being held at the Xinyang No. 1 Detention Center. The 610 Office fabricated a case against Mr. Si and submitted it to the Shihe District Procuratorate. Mr. Si will soon be tried.

Ms. Liu Guiqin was secretly sentenced to five years in prison. She was taken to the Jilin Province Women's Prison in early November.
18. [Shanghai] Ms. Li Weiling Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
Ms. Li Weiling was recently sentenced to fours years in prison by the Changning Court. Ms. Li's sister, Ms. Li Weihong, died as a result of the persecution. For quite some time, Ms. Li and her mother, Ms. Yu Peiying, have been harassed by the Shanghai 610 Office.
Mr. Wu Xiaofeng was also sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison.
