1. [Beijing] Ms. Sun Jinxia and Other Practitioners Arrested

Beijing police arrested several practitioners on the evening of November 17, 2011, including Ms. Hou Yongchun (Haidian District), Ms. Guo Yulan (Changping District), Ms. Sun Jinxia (Chaoyang District), Mr. Li Wanqing and his wife (Chaoyang District), Ms. Ma (Chaoyang District), and Ms. Yang (Huajidi in Chaoyang District). In addition, Ms. Sun Guiqing and Mr. Ren Baohua in Huairou District were also arrested. These two practitioners are being held at the Xicheng District Detention Center. Their computers and Falun Gong books were taken.

On November 19, agents from Beijing Domestic Security Division, 610 Office, and local police arrested more than 30 practitioners in Huairou District, including Ms. Jia Cuihuan, Ms. Liu Guiqin, and Ms. Wei Shuzhen.

2. [Linjiang City, Jilin Province] Mr. Cheng Xianping and Other Practitioners Arrested

Linjiang City police arrested Mr. Cheng Xianping, as well as her mother Ms. Huan and her younger sister. These practitioners are currently being held at the Linjiang Detention Center.

3. [Zaoqiang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yuan Jinchun Arrested

Hengshui City Domestic Security Division agents arrested Mr. Yuan Jinchun on November 21 and confiscated her computer, along with other personal belongings.

After Ms. Fan Shude was arrested on November 13, 2011, she was tortured and later sent to a hospital for emergency rescue. She is currently being held in a mental hospital.

6. [Yingshan County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Guo Kanghua and Three Other Practitioners Arrested

Liu Xinchun and other agents from Yingshan County State Security Bureau arrested four practitioners in April 2011, including Mr. Guo Kanghua, Ms. Yi Xiaohong, Ms. Deng Rong, and Mr. Deng Xinghua. These four practitioners are still being detained.

7. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Sun Houze Arrested

When Mr. Sun Houze, 34-year-old practitioner from Meijiagou Village in Xinzao Town of the Fucheng District, was installing a residential utility for a customer on the afternoon of November 15, he was arrested by plainclothes police officers.

8. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Yang Cuiling Sentenced to Three Years of Forced Labor Camp Detention

Yuanbaoshan District practitioner Ms. Yang Cuiling was sent from Harqin Qi Detention Center to Hohhot Women’s Forced Labor Camp on November 19, with a labor camp term of three years.

9. [Yumen City, Gansu Province] Ms. Bai Xianglan Arrested

Police arrested Ms. Bai Xianglan at home in August 2011 and ransacked her house. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Du Shuxiao Arrested

Police arrested Ms. Du Shuxiao when she was talking to people about Falun Gong on the street on November 22. She is now being held at the Laizhou City Detention Center.

11. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Update on the Torture of Mr. Zhang Yutang

Second Police Station agents arrested Mr. Zhang Yutang on August 12 and tortured him. His weight dropped from approximately 60 kilograms (132 lb.) to about 40 kilograms (88 lb.), and his ribs were broken.

12. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Zhichen Secretly Sentenced to Nine Years of Imprisonment in Early November and Tortured in the Tiebei Prison

13. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Lu Yuying Arrested and Tortured

Ms. Lu Yuying is a 49-year-old burn surgeon. She received a phone call on the morning of November 21, saying that a patient needed her help. When she went to the clinic, she was arrested by Shi Huaizhong (Anning District 610 Office) and over ten agents from Yintan Police Station and the local Domestic Security Division. Ms. Lu was then sent to the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center.

14. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Xiuhua and Other Practitioners Arrested

When Ms. Yu Xiuhua and five other practitioners were distributing truth-clarification materials on November 20, police agents arrested her and held her at the Huangwu Detention Center.

15. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xin Huanyun Continues to Be Detained After Term Expires

Ms. Xin Huanyun was sentenced to one year of detention in a forced labor camp last year. Her term has expired, but she is still being held at the Hebei Province Women’s Forced Labor Camp.

16. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhuang Yan Arrested

Ms. Zhuang Yan is a 58-year-old practitioner from Changchun City, Jilin Province. She was arrested at home by agents from Taoyuan Police Station in Shenzhen City and is currently being held at the Nanshan Detention Center.

17. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yuying Sent to Forced Labor Camp

When 55-year-old Ms. Liu Yuying was telling others about Falun Gong at a farmers' market on October 12, police arrested her and held her at Fushun Second Detention Center. About two weeks later, she was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp to serve a one-year term.

18. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Five practitioners were arrested on November 21, including Ms. Wang Xiaojun, Mr. Zhou Xiangdang, and Ms. Li Xiangling and her husband. They are now being held at the Changli County Detention Center.

19. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Cao Ruitang Arrested

Guangyang District police arrested Mr. Cao Ruitang at his grocery store on the morning of November 22. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Wang Zhihai was arrested on November 22 by agents from the Jiulongpo District 610 Office and security personnel from his workplace.

21. [Chongqing] Update on Mr. Tang Jian’s Arrest

Haitangxi Police Station agents arrested Mr. Tang Jian while he was distributing truth-clarification DVDs on November 1. He is currently being held at the Nan’an District Detention Center in Chongqing. His wife was forced to stay away from home to avoid being persecuted.

Mr. Wang Haibo, a practitioner from Xiyuzhuang in the Hongqiao District, was arrested at home by Xiyuzhuang police on November 11. His personal belongings, including pictures of Falun Gong's founder and Falun Gong books, were confiscated.

23. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Shenbei New District Practitioner Ms. Wang Min Sentenced to Four Years of Imprisonment

24. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Luo Qijia Arrested on November 10 and Currently Held at the Nanguanling Detention Center

25. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Lu Song Tortured

Mr. Lu Song was sentenced to eleven years of imprisonment and is being held at Division 8 of the Tailai Prison. He was beaten and humiliated by the inmates. Mr. Lu has suffered a mental collapse due to the mistreatment.

26. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zong Cheng Arrested

Jilin City police arrested Mr. Zong Cheng at his home on November 16 and ransacked it. The agents also seized his Falun Gong books and truth-clarification materials. Mr. Zong is now being held at the Jilin Detention Center.

27. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Caiyun and Mr. Zhou Bo, Mother and Son, Recently Arrested

28. [Shihezi City, Xinjiang ] Persecution of Ms. Yang Xiaohui and Other Practitioners

Domestic Security Division agent Xu Ningdong arrested the following practitioners between April 1 and April 2, 2011, and held them at Shihezi First Detention Center: Ms. Yang Xiaohui, Mr. Yang Hong, Ms. Mei Chunxiang, Ms. Ju Zaiping, Mr. Gong Rundong, and Mr. Wang Jianjun (from Wuhan City). The agents also confiscated the practitioners’ personal belongings, including computers, printers, DVDs, DVD writers, Falun Gong materials, computer hard disks, and MP3 players.

A hearing was held for these practitioners on August 16. On September 13, court officials sentenced Ms. Yang Xiaohui and Ms. Yang Hong to three years of imprisonment, Mr. Wang Jianjun to two years, and other practitioners to one year. These practitioners were sent to the Beiye Prison in Shihezi City on November 15.

29. [Pingjiang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Mao Douhua Arrested

When Ms. Mao Douhua was talking to people about Falun Gong on the evening on November 17, Pingjiang County Domestic Security Division agents arrested her and took her to the county detention center.

30. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Xiaolin Sent to Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Liu Xiaolin, a practitioner in Hualongqiao Village of Hualong Town, did very well in the college entrance exam. However, because her entire family practices Falun Gong, she was not admitted, due to interference from the 610 Office. After Ms. Liu exposed this on the Internet, Ma Guangming and other agents from the local police station arrested her on August 9. The agents abused her for three days at the police station and then sent her to the Shouguang Detention Center. One month later, she was sent to a forced labor camp.

Plainclothes agents arrested Ms. Liu’s parents, Mr. Liu Zonggang and Ms. Sui Qiaohong, at the entrance of her home in the evening on September 21. Mr. Liu Zonggang is now detained at Shandong Second Labor Camp, while Ms. Sui is detained at Zhoucun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City. Both were sentenced to a term of 18 months.

Shangkou Town practitioner Ms. Li Fayao was also sentenced to labor camp detention recently and the term is one year.
