(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Ms. Deng Shujuan, 27, lives in Nansan Village, Cuihuangkou Town, in the Wuqing District of Tianjin City. She operated a market stall selling ladies jewelry in Tianjin.

Ms. Deng did not come to work on September 14, 2010. Co-workers from the market found that her apartment had been ransacked. Her computer, printer, and books had all been taken away. They were told that Ms. Deng was arrested by officers from the Public Security Department of Hebei District, and she was jailed and being persecuted at the Hebei District Detention Center.

Deng Shujuan's father passed away when she was young. Her mother raised her and her younger brother alone. Deng Shujuan's arrest seriously shocked her mother. She didn't know her daughter's whereabouts until she read the report on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) on November 16, 2010.

Deng Shujuan's mother traveled the long distance to the detention center to see her daughter, however the guards rejected her request, even when she cried, begged, and waited.

After not hearing from her daughter for several months, she became extremely worried. Deng Shujuan was a filial daughter and she supported the family financially. The Chinese New Year is the time that everyone in the family reunites. However, a simple get together between mother and daughter was impossible.

Without any hope and in deep sorrow, Deng Shujuan's mother went back home. She hung herself and ended her own life.
