(Clearwisdom.net) At 8:30 p.m. on January 17, 2011, a five-story building on Hanzheng Street in Wuhan City caught fire. The official report said that 14 people died. After the fire, people found that a quickly-built unit on the fifth floor had remained intact, and everyone felt very curious about why this was so.
The unit was about 200 square feet and had wooden frames, a door, windows, and asbestos and a tarp roof. After the fire, only the door and the tarp were slightly charred; the fire stopped when it reached the wall.
The quickly-built unit to the south of it that the landlord occupied was completely burned; even the steel rebar was bent from the heat. The unit to the north was piled with bird cages and some lumber, and was burned completely. The landlord said to the tenant lady: “There must be a Buddha at your home protecting you.”
Reporters from two TV stations went to the site to take pictures of the scene after the fire. Being surprised to see the intact unit, they asked the lady resident: “How come your house is intact?” The lady said: “I am very grateful to Falun Gong. A relative of mine is a Falun Gong practitioner. She told me to recite 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' when faced with any danger. You all have witnessed it. This was such a big fire, but my house is intact. I truly am grateful to Falun Gong.” The two reporters left without saying a word.
The neighbors all came to visit the house after hearing the news. Everyone felt it was a miracle. The news spread farther and farther. Two ladies heard the news and came. When they learned that the unit escaped the fire after its occupier recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” one of the two ladies hurried to the lady who lived in the intact unit and asked: “What are the exact words? Can you write them down for me?” Then they left after thanking the lady profusely.
Everyone who saw the intact unit has witnessed the wonder of Falun Dafa and the protection of the divine.
