(Clearwisdom.net) After Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published, I began to clarify the truth to people face to face, primarily by distributing brochures. When I was still working, I gave out the Nine Commentaries and encouraged people to renounce the party. By the time I retired in 2007, I had helped more than 1000 people where I worked to quit the Party and its affiliated organizations.
Actually, it is not difficult to tell people the true facts face to face. The most difficult part is taking the first step. Once you have stepped out, Master will bring predestined people to you. All you need to do is simply open your mouth. The joy displayed by a sentient being being saved is an encouragement to us. It is a gain, an incentive. Yet, we cannot imagine how much effort Master puts into this! It is a debt that a being can never repay.
While clarifying the truth to people every day, I have often had touching experiences. I would like to share a few.
I once spoke to an elderly lady who said, “I used to work in a hospital and my colleague told me about Falun Gong, but I didn't pay much attention to what she said. Later on, Falun Gong was banned and then I was scared to learn more about it because it was illegal.” I said, “The communist regime has gone against the constitution, and is breaking the law. Falun Gong teaches us to cultivate to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and has miraculous benefits in improving physical wellbeing. The evil Party is persecuting good people, who practice the Buddha Law. We expose the evil deeds committed by the regime so that people will see its true nature and renounce their membership in it.” She understood the truth and said, “I would have started the practice sooner if I had not believed the propaganda spread by the communist regime. I have been sick for many years. Today, I have met you, my benefactor. Can you teach me the exercises?” She subsequently read the teachings and watched the nine-day lecture videos. She does the exercises and studies the Fa every day and her health is improving. I also gave her the Shen Yun Performing Arts DVD, and she passed it on to relatives after watching it.
When I see the smiling faces and voices of gratitude from those who understood the truth, I know that Master is encouraging me to do better.
The weather in my hometown is unusually hot. One summer, some of the days were even hotter than in the southern areas, and we had the highest temperatures in China. Very few people were out walking. That day, two young men came walking towards me and asked for directions. I offered to take them to their destination, saying, “These days the weather is really strange. Do you know why? In the past, the elderly said that if the emperor was not virtuous, then his people would suffer. We are now suffering from the bad deeds done by the Jiang Zemin regime, which started the persecution of Falun Gong. You should remember that Falun Dafa is good and quit the Communist Party and its affiliated associations to avoid disaster.” I gave them Shen Yun DVDs, copies of the Nine Commentaries, and information brochures. I instructed them to watch these shows with their friends and families so that they, too, could learn the truth. They agreed and asked to do “three withdrawals.” These are predestined people arranged by Master to listen to the truth.
People are now awakening and their knowing sides are taking the initiative to seek the truth. If we hide at home, who will save them? How can we bear to stay at home and seek comfort? Some fellow practitioners claim that they are stepping out of their houses to save people. Yet they don't open their mouths to clarify the truth. I am not criticizing anyone because saving sentient beings is the greatest honor bestowed by Master, and we Dafa disciples should fulfill this mission and responsibility!
I also put aside time to make voice-recorded phone calls to spread the truth about Dafa to predestined people living far away from me.
I meet all kinds of people every day when I clarify the truth, and most people can accept it. Only a few odd ones refuse to listen or don't believe what I tell them. Regardless who I encounter, no matter how rude they are, I immediately remind myself that I am a practitioner. I feel pity for these people, who have been deceived by the communist regime. I wish that they could meet other predestined people and be saved.
It is the start of another new year. Practitioners both overseas and in China, let's walk on the path of cultivation and follow Master with quick steps.
