(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liu Chun from Beijing died as a result of the persecution at Beijing's Daxing Forced Labor Camp. On January 19, 2011, upon learning the news, his family hurried to the hospital, where they saw Mr. Liu's cold and emaciated remains. They saw large red spots on his forehead and the bridge of his nose.

Mr. Liu Chun was well-known as a good person in the community and at his workplace. After practicing Falun Gong, he stayed in very good health, and was always ready to help others.

On September 28, 2010, Mr. Liu was arrested at his friend's home and was taken to the Shijingshan District Police Department. That same afternoon, officers from the Shijingshan Police Department and the local police station illegally arrested many Falun Gong practitioners in Mentougou, Fengtai and Tongzhou Districts. More than twenty practitioners in Mentougou District were arrested that day and their homes were ransacked. The practitioners included Liu Chun, Zhai Fengxian, Liu Shufen, Li Yue'e, Wang Quanfang, Li Yimei, An Heping, Zhang Xiaoyi, Zhang Xiaoping and his wife Li Xiuzhen, Yu Zhixin, Wu Hanying, Li Yanfu, Chen, Yang Baoye, An Degui and Peng Tianguo. Most of them were taken to Daxing Forced Labor Camp.

Mr. Liu refused to renounce his belief. He was subjected to frequent physical abuse and torture until he died.
