(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 18 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 11 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 15 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhou Yandong's Illegal Term at the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp May be Extended
Mr. Zhou Yandong from the Shuangyang District, Changchun City, was arrested in March 2010 and illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor. He has been in the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp for almost a year. His term will expire on March 19, 2011. Mr. Zhou's term may be extended because he hasn't complied with the labor camp officials' unlawful demands.
2. [Daxinganling, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Jinrong Arrested
Railway station officials found Mr. Wang Jinrong carrying 2011 ShenYun performance DVDs when they checked his handbag on March 24, 2011. He was immediately arrested and is still in custody.
3. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhang Xiuru Arrested on March 15, 2011 As She Posted Truth Clarification Messages; Her Whereabouts Are Unknown

4. [Fujian Province] Fujian Province Women's Prison Denies Ms. Chen Xue Family Visits
Ms. Chen Xue from Fuzhu City was sent to the Fujian Province Women's Prison on February 25, 2011. Her family tried to visit her at the labor camp, but was turned away.
5. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Arrest of Hebei Medical University Lecturer Ms. Feng Ruixue
Ms. Feng Ruixue, a lecturer at the College of Integrated Chinese-Western Medicine at Hebei Medical University, was arrested at work around 3:00 p.m. on March 9, 2011. Officers from the Qiaoxi District Domestic Security Division in Shijiazhuang City and the Xinshi Police Station in the Qiaoxi District made the arrest. They took the key to her home from her and ransacked it. Ms. Feng is currently in the Shijiazhuang City Detention Center.

6. [Wuji County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Shuangpai Arrested
Mr. Zhang Shuangpai from Sixia Village was arrested on March 11, 2011, as he posted messages about Falun Gong. Officers from the Jiaodong Police Station made the arrest. Mr. Zhang is currently in the Shijiazhuang City Detention Center.
7. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Xifeng and Others Arrested
A practitioner from Huagou Town, Gaoqing County who had been arrested told the police the name of Ms. Gao Xifeng from Guanzhuang Village. Officers from the Police Department and 610 Office agents broke into Ms. Gao's home on March 12, ransacked it, and arrested her. Ms. Gao's whereabouts are unknown.
8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gong Shuying Arrested and Taken to a Forced Labor Camp
Officer Wang Renfu and others from the Mengjia Police Station arrested Ms. Gong Shuying and took her to the Weizigou Forced Labor Camp

9. [Shanhaiguan, Hebei Province] Ms. Jin Chaohong's Home Ransacked
Ms. Jin Chaohong from Shanhaiguan City was arrested the afternoon of March 6, 2011, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong and the persecution in Nanmenwai. She was taken to the Nanguan Police Station where she was detained before her release around 8:00 p.m. Afterwards, Fu Yong from Section One of the Police Department and others ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books.
10. [Suining, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Lin Arrested
More than 20 officers headed by Xu Jun of the Suining City State Security Division, arrested Ms. Li Lin at home on March 10, 2011. They forcibly carried her into a police vehicle and confiscated the photo of Master from her home. Ms. Li is currently in the Suining Brainwashing Center.
11. [Anyue County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liu Sishui Arrested
Mr. Liu Sishui from Anyue County was strolling down the street with his grandson on March 9, 2011, when a car suddenly stopped near him. Several men got out of the car and pushed him down on the ground. They shoved his grandson and him into the car and drove away.
12. [Renhuai City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Shi Zhirong Arrested
Ms. Shi Zhirong, 59 years old, from Renhuai City, was arrested on October 5, 2010. Officer Mu Hongshu and others from the Canglong Police Station made the arrest. Local court officials put her on trial on March 3, 2011, but no verdict was announced.
13. [Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Han Xiting Still in Custody
Mr. Li Lixin from Weihe Town, who had been arrested, was released on March 15, 2011. Mr. Han Xiting is still in the Shangzhi City Detention Center.
14. [Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Mei Arrested
Ms. Li Mei from Yangjiang City was arrested on March 8, 2011, and is currently in the Yangjiang City Detention Center.
Ms. Li, in her 60s, is a retired official from Water Conservancy Bureau. She was subjected to forced labor several years ago.
15. [Shanghai] Ms. Chen Hong Is in the Jing'an Detention Center

16. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Xiuzhen Arrested
Ms. Wang Xiuzhen, 66 years old, from the Tongzhou District was arrested the morning of March 5, 2011, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong and distributed information about Falun Gong in Ximen in the Tongzhou District. She is currently in Division 7 of the Taihu Detention Center in the Tongzhou District.
17. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Guomei Still in Custody
Ms. Yu Guomei and Ms. Zhang Guijun from Huanren County went to the countryside to speak with people about Falun Gong. Five officers from the Yahe Police Station arrested them. Ms. Zhang was released, but Ms. Yu is still in the Liuhe Detention Center.

18. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Naizhi Harassed
Ms. Liu Naizhi was on her way to consult a lawyer she had hired for her younger brother, Mr. Liu Nailun, on March 1, 2011. The village Party secretary led people to Ms. Liu's home twice the afternoon of March 3 but did not see Ms. Liu. They started making phone calls to look for Ms. Liu early in the morning on March 4 and went to Ms. Liu's home seven times that day. Plainclothes police officers were outside Ms. Liu's home from noontime to night.
19. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] The Persecution of Mr. Lu Hongyou and Others
Shidong Police Station head Pu Yong and Yuan Lizhong from the Shitong Town Security Office led others to ransack the homes of Mr. Lu Hongyou, Mr. Wu Mingshu, and Ms. Yuan Xiying on March 3, 2011. They took the three practitioners to the police station for interrogation.
Mr. Lu Hongyou is in his 60s; Mr. Wu Mingshu, in his 50s; and Ms. Yuan is in her 70s. Ms. Yuan was released that same day after being forced to pay 4,000 yuan extortion. Mr. Lu and Mr. Wu were sent to the Suining Detention Center.

20. [Wuchang, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Ling Held in the Dongxihu No. 1 Detention Center
Ms. Wu Ling was arrested the morning of March 14, 2011, as she distributed information about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Guanshankou Police Station and then transferred to the Hongshan Police Department. She was eventually sent to the Dongxihu No.1 Detention Center around midnight that day.
21. [Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Chang Lan Arrested
Ms. Chang Lan from Hualin Town was arrested at home on March 14 as she printed informational materials about Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a printer, a computer, 2011 Shen Yun performance DVDs, and informational materials.
Practitioner Song's home was also ransacked and money was extorted from him.
