(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Wang Jinpin, Ms. Zhang Shuxia and Ms. Yu Shuxian are currently incarcerated in the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison, where they are suffering severe abuse.
Ms. Wang Jinping from Liaoyang City, in her 40s, was given a ten-year prison term and has been subjected to abuse and torture at the Liaoning Province Women's Prison. In late December 2009, the guards brought Ms. Wang to an office and severely beat her. They beat her until she lost consciousness, then poured cold water over her to make her regain consciousness and continued the beating. One of the guards involved was Li Dan. After Ms. Wang went on a hunger strike to protest, the guards force-fed her.
Ms. Zhang Shuxia, 56, from Dandong City, has been detained in the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison since 2009. The guards deprived her of sleep for seven days and nights. They assaulted her with electric batons until she lost consciousness, and then dragged her into a washroom and poured cold water on her. In addition, Ms. Zhang was subjected to forced labor daily and suffered beatings from prisoner Gao Feng. Afterwards, Ms. Zhang went on a protest hunger strike. The guards then took her to the prison hospital and force-fed her. Each time, they drew blood against her will, causing dizziness, and then they force-fed her. The guards are Liu Yingying, Yang Yang and Liu Yili.
Ms. Yu Shuxian, 50, from Xinbin County was arrested by police officer Wang Zhong in June 2008. After having been detained for six months in the Xinbin County Detention Center, Ms. Yu was transferred to the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison in December 2008. Guards Yang Yang and Liu Yingying shocked her with electric batons in July 2009. In addition, guard Liu Yili often slapped her face.
