(Clearwisdom.net) I once had a dream that I still remember clearly. A university was about to grant two doctoral degree certificates. Because the area was particularly crucial, the god who was in charge of the event made a special arrangement: he allowed three candidates to pass the exam, but set an extra test without letting them know beforehand.
In the grand ceremony, the president of the university was giving out certificates. The first candidate expressed his gratitude to the gods upon receiving his doctor's uniform and certificate. But the second person, upon receiving his doctor's uniform and certificate, said that his achievement was merely a consequence of his own efforts. He also said that his prayers to gods had resulted in nothing. He then shouted with huge ego and pride: Look, gods, this is all from my own effort, and I am the best even without you! Right after he said that, a god appeared in front of him, reached out for his uniform and certificate, took them away and gave them to the third candidate, leaving the second person in astonishment and tremendous regret. Afterwards, the two doctors did a lot of good deeds with the god's guidance.
Through this dream, I realized that no matter whether we are in the secular world or in other dimensions, we must remember the foundation of our cultivation. All that we have and all that we can do are given by the Fa, which was created by Master, even if some of us may have great responsibilities in the future. We should not think too highly of ourselves, because all of our wisdom and capabilities come from the Fa. Without the Fa, there would be nothing, let alone us. Therefore, we need to be clear about the relationship between the Fa, Master, and ourselves. We need to always follow the Fa and Master closely, which is what's best for us and how we should treasure our destiny with the Fa. Our heart of respecting Master and the Fa must last forever, no matter who we are now or what we will be in the future.
