(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, 14 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 35 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Acheng, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cui Xiuju Persecuted in Heilongjiang Provincial Women's Prison

Ms. Cui Xiuju, 58, is imprisoned at the First Area of Heilongjiang Provincial Women's Prison. She has been on a hunger strike since March 20. On the 24th, her blood pressure reached 200, and one side of her body was numb. Her life is currently in danger.

2. [Anshan, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Lihua and Two Others Illegally Arrested

Practitioners Ms. Liu Lihua, Ms. Yan Lili, and Ms. Sheng Jie were reported to the police when they told people about Falun Gong. Officers from the Zhanqian Police Station of Anshan Police Department, Tiedong branch arrested them on March 22, 2011. The practitioners are currently detained at Anshan City First Detention Center for Women.

3. [Jilin, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Songwei Taken to a Brainwashing Center

Mr. Zhang Songwei, who is in his fifties, works at Huangqitun Sales Company of China Oil. On the afternoon of March 23, 2011, company leader Li summoned Mr. Zhang to the office and let 610 Office personnel arrest him. Mr. Zhang is being held at Xiaoguang Village Brainwashing Center at Shahezi.

4. [Jilin, Jilin Province] Mr. Lei Bin and Two Other Practitioners Arrested on March 17

5. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Zhixin Arrested

On the evening of March 24, 2011, officers from the Tonglingbei Police Station of Huanggu Police Department ransacked Mr. Liu Zhixin's home, confiscated his laptop computer, a printer, and truth clarification materials. They arrested Mr. Liu. Practitioner Mr. Li Changkuan was also arrested.

6. [Haicheng, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Suyun Persecuted

Ms. Sun Suyun from Haicheng was arrested on August 4, 2010, when she went to a rural area to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. Other practitioners arrested at the same time were Ms. Dai Surong, Ms. Fu Xunxia, and Ms. Pan Suhua.

On November 12, 2010, Haicheng Court tried these four practitioners. On March 15, 2011, the practitioners were all given the verdicts of three-year prison terms, and taken to Shenyang Prison. Ms. Sun Suyun did not pass the examination and was taken back to Anshan City Detention Center.

7. [Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province] Mr. Yin Jianhui Persecuted

Officers from the Taoyuan Police Station arrested Mr. Yin Jianhui on the morning of March 25, 2011. They ransacked his home, and released him later that day.

8. [Gongzhuling, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Shufen Taken to Siping Detention Center

On March 4, 2011, officers from Gongzhuling Domestic Security Division, 610 Office, and Qinjiatun Town Police Station ransacked 58-year-old Ms. Li Shufen's home, and held her at Gongzhuling Detention Center. Around March 21, Ms. Li was transferred to Siping Detention Center.

9. [Shuangcheng, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yi Zhengfang and Mr. Lu Guangwen Arrested

On March 25, 2011, practitioners Ms. Fan Shude, Ms. Yi Zhengfang, and Mr. Lu Guangwen were distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs on the street. Officers from the Dongfeng Police Station arrested them. Ms. Fan Shude escaped. Ms. Yi Zhengfang and Mr. Lu Guangwen are being held at Shuangcheng Detention Center.

10. [Huaiyang County, Henan Province] Ms. Lei Aihua Arrested

At around 8:00 p.m. on March 18, 2011, officers from Huaiyang County Domestic Security Division ransacked Ms. Lei Aihua's home at Yangzhai Village in Xinzhanxiang. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, materials, CDs, and two laptop computers. Ms. Lei was taken to Huaiyang County Police Department. After interrogation, she was transferred to Huaiyang Detention Center.

11. [Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province] More than Ten Practitioners in Zhengding County Arrested

Officer Liu Fengjiang from the Domestic Security Division of the Dingzheng County Police Department arrested more than ten practitioners on March 25, including Ms. Bai Jingyi, Ms. Zhang Yinping, Ms. Shao Yanqin, Ms. Li Fengzhen and her husband Mr. Cui, among others.

12. [Lanzhou, Gansu Province] Ms. Su Jinxia Arrested

At 3:30 p.m. on March 18, Ms. Su Jinxia was talking with people about Falun Gong at Wangfujin Shopping Center at Lanxin. Officers from the Jiayuguan Police Station arrested her, confiscated her cell phone and senior citizen certificate, etc. She was taken to Jiayuguang Police Station. The police ransacked Ms. Su's home at around 6:00 p.m. At around midnight, family members took Ms. Su back home.

13. [Xinxiang, Henan Province] Ms. Hao Xiuying and Others from Mengzhuang Town Persecuted

On March 2, 2011, Ms. Hao Xiuying, Ms. Guan Meixiang, and Ms. Wang Guanglian, practitioners from Mengzhuang Town, Hui County, were talking with people about Falun Gong when they were arrested. They are currently being held at Xinxiang Detention Center.

14. [Tianmen, Hubei Province] Song Sisters from Zaoshi Town Arrested

On March 23, 2011, Song sisters from Zaoshi Town went to visit relatives in Hushi. They were talking with people about Falun Gong on the way and were reported to the authorities. Officers from Hushi Police Station arrested the sisters and detained them at Tianmen Detention Center.

15. [Jingxing County, Hebei Province] County Police Department Personnel Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners

Captain Wang Xiting of the Domestic Security Division of Jingxing County and officers from the Weishui Town Police Station arrested practitioners Ms. Wang Pingqin, Ms.Pan Lizhu, Ms. Deng Guoyun, Ms. Shan Lihua, and Ms. Bai Yuzhi at around 7:00 a.m. on March 25, 2011. The police confiscated their computers, DVDs, MP3 players, Falun Dafa books, and truth clarification CDs.

All of the above practitioners have been released.

16. [Wendeng, Shandong Province] Mr. Qi Yajie Arrested

Officers from the Wendeng City Police Department and 610 Office arrested Mr. Qi Yajie from Gaocun Town on March 13, 2011.

17. [Jingxing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhen Yongwei Persecuted

Practitioner Mr. Zhen Yongwei works for the management section of Jingxing County Train Station. Officers from the police station at the train station arrested Mr. Zhen on March 25, 2011, and confiscated his two computers, a CD-burner, a copier, and his cell phone.

18. [Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Jin Meihua Persecuted in Zhejiang Provincial Women's Prison

On March 21, 2011 in the Zhejiang Provincial Women's Prison, illegally imprisoned Ms. Jin Meihua was forcibly taken to the prison library, where she was forced to read articles slandering Falun Gong. Ms. Jin went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She is currently locked in solitary confinement.

19. [Changde, Hunan Province] Ms. Luo Lingzhi Persecuted

Ms. Luo Lingzhi, 67, is from Anxiang County. She has been imprisoned in Baimalong Forced Labor Camps twice, held at Changde Brainwashing Center twice, and detained at the county detention center for more than a year. She was abused so severely that her back became deformed and she is now humpbacked.

On the morning of March 17, officer Li Hong from the Politics and Security Section of Anxiang County Police Department, along with Hu Yangbing, head of the 610 Office, broke into Ms. Luo's home. They ransacked the home, and confiscated a computer, a color printer, a laminator, a picture of the Falun Dafa founder, Dafa books and materials, and more than 800 yuan in cash. Ms. Luo had to leave her home to avoid further persecution.

20. [Chifeng, Inner Mongolian] Ms. Li Lanyue Detained

At around 6:00 a.m. on January 16, 2011, Wang Xueming, head of Anqinggou Police Station, along with deputy head Xu Gui and others, arrested Ms. Li Lanyue, Ms. Song Yuqin, and Ms. Yu Caifen.

The police ransacked Ms. Li Lanyue's home and confiscated 10,000 yuan. They interrogated Ms. Li's husband Mr. Zhong Xue and held him for six days without cause. Ms. Song Yuqin and Ms. Yu Caifen have since been released. Ms. Li is detained at Songshan District Detention Center and not allowed to meet with her family.

21. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Zuxin Arrested and Sent to Caidian CCP School

Mr. Chen Zuxin was arrested on Bolin Street in Caidian District on March 25, 2011. Officers from the Caidian 610 Office and Caidian Police Department detained him at the brainwashing center inside the Caidian Chinese Communist Party School.

22. [Jianshui County, Yunnan Province] Ms. Li Yaping Deprived of Pension

Ms. Li Yaping, 61, is a retiree from the Jianshui County Chinese Medicine Hospital. She was arrested by police on the street at around 8:00 p.m. on November 27, 2009. The officers ransacked her home. Ms. Li was sentenced to a four-year prison term in May 2010, and taken to Yunnan Provincial Women's Second Prison at Kunming. The prison refused to take her for some reason, and Ms. Li was sent back home and ordered to serve the term outside the prison.

Since February 2011, Jianshui County Chinese Medicine Hospital has held Ms. Li's retirement pension without notifying her.

23. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Ms. Xu Lihua Taken to Wuhan Women's Prison

Ms. Xu Lihua, 37, was arrested on March 23, 2011 by officers from the Zhuru Street Police Station. Ms. Xu is currently imprisoned at Wuhan Women's Prison.

Ms. Li has been detained and imprisoned at forced labor camps several times. Ms. Li's husband works out of town. Since her arrest, their two children, an eighth grader and an second grader, have been left home alone.

24. [Zhumadian, Henan Province] Ms. Li Li Persecuted

Ms. Li Li, 39, is from Zhumadian. She was arrested by officers from the Yicheng District Domestic Security Division on April 7, 2010. Ms. Li was held at Liuge Detention Center. Yicheng District Court and 610 Office collaborated to sentence her to a three-year prison term. Ms. Li was taken to Xinxiang Women's Prison. The prison refused to admit her for some reason, and Ms. Li remains detained at Liuge Detention Center in Zhumadian.

25. [Zhuzhou, Hunan Province] Mr. Chen Guo Arrested

Mr. Chen Guo, in his fifties, is employed by Hongqi Cinema, in the Hetang District of Zhuzhou City. Around April 7, 2008, captain He Wujin of the Hetang District Domestic Security Division, along with other officers, went to Mr. Chen's workplace, where the officers violently beat him. Mr. Chen was severely injured. Mr. Chen was taken to Hetang District Domestic Security Division where he was interrogated using torture methods. Both of Mr. Chen's arms were fractured.

Mr. Chen Guo was given a ten-year prison term. His whereabouts are currently unknown.

26. [Xianyang, Shannxi Province] Police Officer Arrests a Woman Practitioner

On the afternoon of March 23, 2011, a female practitioner in her sixties was talking with a young man about Falun Gong at the crossroads near Xianyang Seventh Factory. The young man turned out to be a plainclothes police officer from Qindu Police Department, whose name is Wang Fan. Wang held the female practitioner on the ground, twisted both of her arms behind her back, and stood on her body to hold her still until six more officers arrived. They violently beat and arrested the practitioner, whose head, body, and hands were covered with injuries.
