(Clearwisdom.net) On March 25, 2011 the Yangqu County Court of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province again persecuted Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Zhang Baojun and his wife Tian Jiang. Mr. and Mrs. Zhang exposed the facts in court regarding each time that the Communist Party had persecuted them. The judge and court officials had nothing to say in response and hastily concluded the matter.
On June 3, 2010 at around 1:00 p.m. Guan Jianxin from the Hepingnanlu Police Department, Yangqu County, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, policeman Bao Hongbin from the 610 Office in Wanbolin District Public Security Branch Office, Assistant Chief Tian Guoxi from the Political Security Department, and Yangqu County Public Security Bureau, broke into the home of practitioners Tian Jiang and Zhang Baojun with between 10 to 20 policemen in order to arrest them.
At that time, Tian Jiang was the only one at home. Trying to escape, Ms. Tian climbed to the outside of the balcony on the fourth floor. She stood on a very thin guardrail. The policemen continued to try and arrest her. The fire brigade was called in, and they used a laddered vehicle to force her to come down.
During this process, the police duped the crowd that was looking on. They said that Ms. Tian was trying to commit suicide. She shouted to the crowd below, "The policemen are persecuting Falun Gong!" She also announced that the police forced her outside of her apartment and that she wasn't committing suicide.
After her husband Zhang Baojun and her mother Li Aiying learned of her situation, they quickly went to the Hepingnanlu Police Station. Policeman Bao Hongbin then took her husband into custody.
The same day at 11:00 a.m., four people including Zhang Yan, former Assistant Director of the Yangqu Commerce Department, Chang Xiangdong, Party Secretary of Yangqu Shopping Mall, Wang Bingsheng, Yangqu County Party Committee Deputy Director, the Director of 610 Office, and another woman, visited Tianjiang's mother Li Aiying. They deceived Ms. Li's family into opening the door and around 12 or 13 policemen followed them in. They then searched and ransacked her home.
On June 4, 2010, the Shanxi Financial News TV Station, Shanxi Yellow River TV Station, the Taiyuan Evening Paper, and other media outlets broadcast and published false information. They claimed that Tian Jiang tried to commit suicide and that the fire brigade had saved her.
In the middle of January, 2010, Yangqu County Court tried Zhang Baojun and his wife, Tian Jiang, and another local elderly practitioner. They only permitted the three practitioners' relatives to attend and other people were barred from entering the court. The court adjourned at noon and nothing was decided at that point. The elderly practitioner was released, but Zhang Baojun and Tian Jiang were later sentenced to three years in prison. Shortly afterwards, they appealed to a higher court.
