(Clearwisdom.net) The 610 Office of Deyang City ordered the cancellation of the March 7, 2011 Luojiang County Court trial for Falun Gong practitioners, Mr. Ye Qibing, Mr. Liu Ping, Ms. Qiu Juyuan, and Ms. Qiu Yuqiong. Many Falun Gong practitioners did not know this, and went to the court as visitors to attend the trial. Seventeen of them were illegally arrested.
Mr. Ye Qibing and three other practitioners from Shuanglin Village, Yuanjiazhen Town, Jingyang District, Deyang City, were arrested and taken to Luojiang County Detention Center on October 7, 2010, after they distributed truth-clarifyingmaterials at a junction between the towns of Luoping and Guangfu. On February 17, 2011, a court trial summons was sent to Mr. Ye Qibin and the other practitioners. The summons, from the Luojiang Court, announced a trial for the four practitioners set for 9:30 a.m. on March 7, 2011. However, on March 5, 2011, the trial was canceled, yet many practitioners from surrounding counties went to Luojiang Court on March 7, and seventeen were arrested.
The practitioners arrested were from Guanghan city, Ms. Zhang Li, and Mr. Shi Youqun, from the vegetable shop in Luocheng Town; Mr. Xie Jiuhui of Beiwai Brigade 6; Ms. Zhao Yanzhen of Brigade 5, in Xigao Town; Ms. Xiao Kaiping, Ms. Zhang Erxiu, Ms. Zeng Yunfeng, and Ms. Cai Huayu of Xinglong Town; and five other practitioners from Sanshui Town, Guanghan. Ms. Jiang Zeying and Ms. Feng Yingxiu of Shuimo Village, Gaoping Town; Ms. Deng (in her seventies) from Bajiao Town, Deyang, and one other without name and address.
The arrested practitioners were taken to Guanghan City Detention Center that night. Meanwhile, the police ransacked their homes.
