(Clearwisdom.net) The Zichuan District Court in Zibo City, Shandong Province secretly convened and tried Falun Gong practitioner Ma Xifang on April 12, 2011.
During the hearing, Ma Xifang fainted when she heard that her elderly mother had collapsed and was bedridden because she wasn't allowed to see her daughter for such a long time. The hearing was immediately terminated.
Ma Xifang’s mother is over 80 years old. After Ma Xifang’s arrest, her mother lost her vision from crying so much. She later had a stroke. Now, she is bedridden and unable to function in her daily life. Every day she says, “Xifang, I can't see you any more.” Despite the elderly mother's pain, Wang Jifeng and others from the Zichuan District Domestic Division still refuse the family's repeated requests to visit Ma Xifang.
Police officers arrested Ma Xifang when she was explaining facts about Falun Gong on December 6, 2010. She was later detained at the Zibo Detention Center. Her family has not yet been allowed to visit her.
