Mr. Cong Shaoguo lives in Wujiazi Village, Bawu Town. He was arrested and taken to a brainwashing facility the morning of May 12, 2011. Mr. Chen Sifeng lives in Hanjiapaozi Village, Qinjiatun Town. Local police harassed him at home and unsuccessfully attempted to arrest him.

2. [Jilin Province] Updated Information Regarding the Persecution of Practitioners in Dehui City

There have been several recent arrests of practitioners in Dehui City. Ms. Zhang Wei was transferred to the Jilin Province Police Hospital because of health problems resulting from being physically abused in detention. Ms. Sun Liqing was given a two-year forced labor term in late April 2011 and is now in Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp's Division 4 in Changchun City. Other practitioners are currently in the Dehui City Detention Center.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Shuqing and Mr. Xin Shiwen Stand Trial

Ms. Wang Shuqing and Mr. Xin Shiwen stood trial around 7:00 a.m. on May 6, 2011, in the Dongfeng Court in the Changchun No.1 Automobile Factory. Mr. Xin defended himself in court. The judge hurried through the procedures.

4. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Additional Information Regarding the Persecution of Ms. Cheng Shufang

Ms. Cheng Shufang is currently held in the Baishan Detention Center in Jilin City. She suffers from severe high blood pressure and heart problems. According to an eyewitness, two guards took Ms. Cheng to the No. 222 Hospital. Prior to this, officer Guo Qiang from the police station ordered her daughter to pay for her mother's medical treatment, but she refused to comply. Ms. Cheng's family demanded Ms. Cheng's immediate release so that she could return home to seek independent medical treatment.

Ms. Cheng's daughter was told to go to the Changyi Police Department the morning of May 10, 2011. The officials threatened her to try to get her to tell what her mother had done.

Following Ms. Shang Fengchun from Suizhong County's release from the Huludao City Detention Center, Dazhai Township Police Station officers harassed her many times at home. They got her telephone number and threatened that they would call her at any time and that she should make sure to be at home.

6. [Bengbu City, Anhui Province] Mr. Zhang Haifeng Incarcerated at a Brainwashing Facility

Four police officers arrested Mr. Zhang Haifeng at home on the morning of May 13, 2011, and took him to a brainwashing facility.

7. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Pan Hanyu Again Taken to a Brainwashing Facility

Ms. Pan Hanyu from Nantong was arrested and her home was ransacked, but nothing related to Falun Gong was found. She was released after a one-day detention but was arrested again at noon on May 12, 2011, and taken to a brainwashing facility. Practitioners in this brainwashing facility include Ms. Wang Li, Ms. Wang Qiuping, and Ms. Jiang Chao.

8. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wan Hongxia Arrested, Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Wan Hongxia from Langfang City was arrested on the evening of May 12, 2011 as she posted information about Falun Gong. Officer Li from the Xinkai Road Police Station made the arrest. Her family demanded her release at the police station on May 14, but officials told them that Ms. Wan had been transferred to the Guangyang Police Department. When her family went to the Guangyang Police Department they were told that Ms. Wan wasn't there. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

9. [Guantao County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Jinrong and Mr. Wang Jinzeng Arrested on May 12, 2011

10. [Jilin Province] Tonghua County 610 Office Agents Persecute Practitioners

Ms. Han Donglan from Guanghua Town, Tonghua County, was arrested the morning of May 12, 2011. Tonghua County 610 Office agents and officers from the Guanghua Town Police Station made the arrest and took her to a brainwashing facility. Ms. Han's husband demanded her release at the brainwashing facility on the morning of May 14, but the 610 Office agents sent him home in a car around 1:00 p.m.

Ms. Luo Xizhen from Ji'an City was deceived into leaving her home by a phone call on the afternoon of May 12, 2011. She hasn't returned home, and her whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Peng Yujuan, who works at the University of Science and Technology of China, was arrested near her residence around April 28, 2011. Local 610 Office agents made the arrest and took her to the Hefei City No.2 Detention Center. Her husband, Mr. Wang Jianying, is also held in the No.2 Detention Center.

Ms. Sun Yunxia has been missing for three to four weeks. Her whereabouts are unknown.

14. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Meihua Held in Custody

Ms. Zhao Meihua, 46 years old, was arrested together with several practitioners in May 2010 in Yongnian County. Officers from the Yaozhai Police Station made the arrests and held them in an unknown location in Shijiazhuang City. Later on, officers from the Yongnian County Domestic Security Division and the Fuxing District Railway Family Compound Police Station, along with Mengwu Village Public Security officer Gong Runhu, searched Ms. Zhao's home but didn't find anything they wanted. Ms. Zhao is still in custody in Shijiazhuang.

15. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] More Than Ten Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Zunhua City Police Department recently arrested many practitioners. As of May 14, 2011, practitioners from Jiazhuangzi Village were sent to the Zunhua City Detention Center. They include Ms. Li Chunyan, Ms. Hao Yanqin, Ms. Wang Baihua, Ms. Shi Yuping, Ms. Qu Shuling, Xie and daughter-in-law, and Ms. Dang Xiaofen.

16. [Hebei Province] Ms. Li Rulan Incarcerated in a Brainwashing Facility

Ms. Li Rulan, an employee from the Huabei Oil Field, was arrested at home on May 6, 2011. Officers from the Jizhong Police Department made the arrest and took her to the Langfang Brainwashing Center.

17. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Zhanxian Arrested

Mr. Li Zhanxian from Chenzhou City was arrested on the afternoon of May 13, 2011, as he spoke with people about Falun Gong on the street. Police officers from the Suxian District ransacked his home that same night and confiscated his computer, printer, and other personal belongings. His paralyzed wife, in her 50s, was left at home uncared for.

18. [Jingmen, Huben Province] Ms. Zhou Ping Arrested and Held in the Huyaguan Detention Center

19. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Circumstances of Mr. Chen Qingshan

Mr. Chen Qingshan, 40, lives in Sanfendian in the Junshan District. He was conducting business at his family-run shoe store on the morning of May 12, 2011, when local 610 Office agent Peng Shanghua and others broke in and searched it. They found a copy of a Falun Gong book, arrested Mr. Chen, and took him to the Junshan District Detention Center.

20. [Ya'an, Sichuan Province] Ms. Gan Yulian Arrested

Ms. Gan Yulian, 69, was arrested at 10:00 p.m. on May 12, 2011, as she distributed information about Falun Gong in public. Officers from the Hebei Police Station made the arrest. The whereabouts of another practitioner, in her 50s, are unknown.

21. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Circumstances of Ms. Huang Wanxian

Shenzhen City 610 Office agents, along with State Security officers and officers from police departments, took concerted action and arrested practitioners on April 22, 2011.

Mr. Sun Jiefeng and his wife, a practitioner surnamed Deng, and Ms. Huang Wanxian from Jieyang were arrested that same day. The police also intimidated and arrested practitioners in Buji and Shawan and other places in Shenzhen.

Ms. Huang was previously arrested by 610 Office agents and sent to Sanshui Women's Forced Labor Camp in 2003.

22. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wei Sufen Taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center on May 5, 2011

23. [Sehnzhen, Guangdong Province] Mother and Two Daughters Illegally Sentenced; Additional Information about Ms. Liang Shaolin - belated information -

Ms. Rao Fang, in her 60s, and her daughters, Ms. Liu Bitao and Ms. Liu Yantao from Shenzhen City, were tried in mid-June 2010. Ms. Rao was given a three-year prison term; Ms. Liu Yantao, three years and two months; and Ms. Liu Bitao, three years and six months. The three of them have been sent to the Guangzhou Women's Prison.

In addition, Ms. Liang Shaolin, in her late 50s, was arrested at home in Maoming in September 2009 and sentenced to nine years in prison. She is also in the Guangzhou Women's Prison.

24. [Chongqing] Ms. Lu Wei Arrested

Ms. Lu Wei is a teacher at the Sanxia Vocational College. She was under long-term surveillance by Wanzhou District 610 Office agents for distributing DVDs of a Shen Yun performance to teachers at her college. The college president ordered Ms. Lu to write a guarantee statement to give up her belief. Later on, the president called for two State Security officers, who arrested Ms. Lu on April 6, 2011, and took her to a forced labor camp in Zhoujiaba in the Wanzhou District for a one-year term.

25. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] 55-Year-Old Ms. Wang Xiaoling Arrested in Mid-April, 2011

26. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Circumstances of Ms. Jiang Mingyu - belated information -

Ms. Jiang Mingyu from Benxi City was arrested at home on the evening of April 23, 2008. Officers from the Cuidong Police Station and from the community made the arrest. More than ten officers pried the door open and confiscated truth clarifying materials, cash, a cell phone, and other personal belongings. Ms. Jiang has been sentenced to eight years in prison and was held in Ward 8 in Masanjia Prison. Ms. Jiang was sent back to the Benxi City Detention Center about 20 days ago. The officials declared that they would extend her prison term.

27. [Wendeng, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Yingguang Harassed

Wendeng City Political and Judiciary Committee officers, along with 610 Office agents, broke into Ms. Xu Yingguang's home at 7:00 a.m. on May 11, 2011. They unsuccessfully attempted to arrest and take her to the Zhangqiu Brainwashing Center in Jinan City.
