(Clearwisdom.net) Three Falun Gong practitioners died over a recent two week period in the Jiamusi Prison in Heilongjiang Province (See http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2011/3/26/124058.html for details). I’d like to disclose how various levels of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) regime connived to cover up the truth of the killing of the practitioners.

Three Practitioners Die in a Two Week Period, Authorities Scramble to Obscure the Details

Mr. Qin Yueming died on February 26, 2011, in his hospital bed. When his family saw his body the next day they noticed his painful facial expression. When they turned his body, a large amount of blood oozed out of his mouth and nose. Except for his chest, his lips, neck, back, waist and legs were black and purple and covered with wounds.

The guards firmly refused to have Mr. Qin’s family take photos of his body. When the family was allowed to view his body again on March 3, they found someone had replaced the bloodstained bed sheet, and the dark color on his back and legs had been lightened with an unknown substance.

Mr. Yu Yungang died on March 5, 2011. Without giving his family a chance to bid farewell, the guards carried his body to a vehicle parked outside. They next ordered a family member to sign the death certificate, but were refused. They then kept a close eye of this family member, monitoring his conversations and videotaping his every move.

Mr. Yu’s family made repeated requests to view his body. The deputy prison head eventually agreed to give them five minutes, after which a group of guards immediately left with the body.

When the family later asked to see the body again, the prison head said only two people were allowed to be present, and they could only take a look at his face without removing his clothes to see his body. Even so, his family was able to tell that his ears were black and purple due to beatings.

In the third case, after Mr. Liu Chuanjiang was tortured to death, the prison promised to give his family 200,000 yuan if they agreed to have his body cremated. The family signed the agreement, but they never got any money. At the same time the guards threatened to punish anyone who disclosed the true cause of Liu’s death.

Following the three practitioner deaths, the prison gathered all guards for a meeting and falsely announced that Qin Yueming and Liu Chuangjiang both died of heart ailments, and Yu Yungang of high-blood-pressure-induced stroke.

In order to make it appear that Yu Yungang died from high blood pressure, as of March 8, Division Six political head Quan Jinghua led the guards to take each practitioner’s blood pressure twice every day. They ordered those whose blood pressure they deemed high to take an unknown pill. They did not hesitate to force-feed practitioners who refused to take the pill. The whole process was videotaped.

The prison also set up a so-called “Strictly Controlled Team” and gathered all practitioners there for intensified persecution. The true purpose of this new team was to cover up the brutality of the methods used within

The prison went to great lengths to cover up its crimes, both before and after the practitioners’ deaths. The guards forbade Yu Yungang’s family to step in the ward while the doctors were trying to save his life. They forbade Qin Yueming’s family to take photos of the body. They only let Yu Yungang’s family examine his face, not his entire body. They also intimidated those criminals who knew the cause of Liu Chuanjiang’s death. Monitoring and videotaping the Yu Yungang family was to prevent them from spreading the truth.

Cover-Up Intensifies After Death Case Details Are Reported on Minghui/Clearwisdom

The CCP regime's higher-ups got involved. After Minghui published information that three practitioners died within two weeks, the Ministry of State Security and the Ministry of Public Security covertly dispatched agents to Jiamusi City around March 11, to investigate the deaths and figure out how the news spread so quickly overseas.

The prison itself also began to harass and intimidate the three practitioners’ family members. Qin Handong, the 610 Office head in the Jinshantun District, Yichun City, called Qin Yueming’s family numerous times, urging them not take legal action and seek admission of guilt. He even made a special trip to Jiamusi City, together with Jinshantun District Political and Law Committee head Han, to intimidate Qin Yueming’s family.

The night of March 14, agents from the Xiangyang District Police Department came to the hotel where Qin Yueming’s family was staying and ordered the hotel staff to disclose whom the family had contacted. They next stationed two secret agents in the room directly across from the family’s room. Wherever the family went, the agents followed.

Yu Yungang’s family was not spared, either. Agents from the Jiamusi City Police Department, from the 610 Office and Street Committees tapped the phones of his several brothers, one sister and those who had contact with them. Agents were monitoring Yu’s siblings around the clock outside their apartment buildings. They followed his brothers and sisters-in-law everywhere. Unable to bear the pressure, his brothers eventually agreed to have their loved one's body cremated, even though they knew all too well that he died as a result of torture.

Ever since the Ministry of State Security and the Ministry of Public Security dispatched agents to Jiamusi City, the city government has begun an all-out campaign to monitor phone conversations of everyone involved in the killing of the three practitioners. As of March 18, they tapped the phones of all employees and detainees at the prison. Their intention is easy to tell: they don’t want any more leaks of true information to the outside world.

The prison has also set up a special task force, which conspires with the Jiamusi City Police Department, the Lianjiangkou Police Department and the Domestic Security Division, to harass visiting family members of detained practitioners. These special task force agents patrolled the visitation room every day and beat at will any family members who refused to follow their commands. Practitioner Jiang Botao’s family members were brutally beaten on March 11. Ten days later, about four plainclothes agents captured another practitioner's visiting family member.

In order to block the killing truth from spreading, the CCP has mobilized various regime level agencies to pressure the victims’ families and those involved in the incidents. From the Ministry of State Security and the Ministry of Public Security to the Heilongjiang Province Political and Law Committee, from the various 610 Offices to Judicial Bureau, and from local police stations to Street Committees, layers of cover-ups only serve to reveal the despicable nature and deep fear the CCP authorities share.

No matter how hard the murderers and connivers try to cover up their crimes, the truth will soon be revealed for the whole world to see.
