(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhu Xiyu is a Falun Gong practitioner from Yanji City, Jilin Province. She has persisted in publicly practicing Falun Gong exercises in the morning at Jindalai Square for many years, and she has been persecuted by the 610 Office over and over again. Ms. Zhu received a written indictment on May 25, 2011 from the Yanji City Procuratorate.
Ms. Zhu has been arrested about 30 times for publicly practicing the exercises at Jindalai Square during the past 12 years, since the communist regime started its persecution of Falun Gong in 1999. The perpetrators from the Yanji City Domestic Security Team and the 610 Office have arrested her several times this year. She was sent to a mental hospital once and was injected with unknown drugs; after another arrest, she was dragged into a brainwashing center.
The officials sent Ms. Zhu to Yanbian Mental Hospital on March 3, 2011 and forced her to go through a so-called “mental evaluation.”
Ms. Zhu has been arrested multiple times, and held in detention centers and forced labor camps. She has gone on hunger strikes several times to protest the persecution.
Ms. Zhu was practicing the exercises in Jindalai Square on March 30 and was arrested again by the police and sent to Dacheng Brainwashing Center. She was dragged into the police car and her pants were torn. The police pulled her hair to get her upstairs, ripping some of it out. At the brainwashing center, she was tied up onto a frame for one hour and was tortured. She became extremely thin within just a few days. The evil perpetrators did not realize any benefit from the torture. They are planning an illegal sentence now.
One perpetrator who has participated in the persecution of Ms. Zhu is the Procuratorate official Pu Mingyu.
