1. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Senior Engineer Ms. Li Bingnan Missing

Shaocheng Street Office officials in the Qingyang District withheld Ms. Li Bingnan's salary for practicing Falun Gong. She has been unfunded. Ms. Li went again to the street office on the morning of May 24, 2011, to ask for the return of her salary but was subsequently arrested and detained.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Wife of Lawyer Mr. Wang Yonghang Arrested and Detained

Ms. Yu Xiaoyan, the wife of attorney Mr. Wang Yonghang from Dalian City, was arrested at work on the morning of May 13, 2011. Officers from the Jinxiu Police Station made the arrest. There is now no one to take care of her 80-year-old mother-in-law. Ms. Yu is being held in the Yaojia Detention Center, Cell No. 810.

Ms. Yu was previously arrested on April 30, 2008, by officers from the Xuhui Police Department in Shanghai. She was working on her M.D. degree at Fudan University in Shanghai.

Chinese Communist Party Political and Judiciary Committee head Zhou Yongkang covertly ordered more than 20 police officers to arrest Mr. Wang Yonghang on July 4, 2009, charging him with "publishing articles on websites overseas." Mr. Wang was then sentenced to seven years in prison and has been held in the Shenyang No.1 Prison in Liaoning Province.

Mr. Wang's wife met with the street office head, Shi, on July 4, 2010, to tell him of her husband's persecution. She was arrested. Local police and street office personnel took her to the Fushun Brainwashing Center, where she was held until July 30, 2010.

Ms. Wang Xiuqin, a resident of Xiaqu Village, was arrested on the afternoon of May 23, 2011, as she worked with her daughter in the field. She is being held in the Xingtai Brainwashing Center.

4. [Xixia City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Shulian Detained

Ms. Wu Chunhong and Ms. Li Shulian from Xiaohanjia Village, Sujiadian Town, were arrested on the evening of May 12, 2011, as they went out together. Officers from the Sujiadian Town Police Station made the arrests. Ms. Wu has been released. Ms. Li is still in custody.

5. [Fanchang County, Anhui Province] Ms. Ding Xinping Arrested

Ms. Ding Xinping from Fanchang County was arrested on the afternoon of May 27, 2011. Participating in the arrest were officers from local political and judiciary committee, the 610 Office, and the Domestic Security Division. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a color printer, and other equipment.

Mr. Duan Bangxiao from Anping Town, Anren County, was arrested and taken to the Beihu District Party School Brainwashing Center on the morning of May 26, 2011.

7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Circumstances Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Xu Fenxiu

Ms. Xu Fenxiu from Yangliu Township, Jintang County, was arrested at home at 5:00 a.m. on May 19, 2011. Plainclothes police officers dragged her out of her home and took her to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center.

8. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhou Xinqiong Arrested

Ms. Zhou Xinqiong from Yaodu in the Qingbaijiang District was recently followed and arrested as she spoke with people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked.

Mr. Cao Zhenyu and his wife, Ms. Liu Min, from Dehui City were arrested on May 25, 2011. Participating in the arrests were officers from two Domestic Security Divisions in Changchun and Dehui. Ms. Liu has been released. Mr. Cao is being held in a detention center.

Ms. Chen Yanqing, 39, from the Tinghu District, was arrested at home around April 25, 2011. The police broke in and took her away. She was first detained several days at the Yancheng Normal University but has been transferred to another location. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Zhuozhou City Court officials sentenced Mr. Lu Jinyou to three years in prison.

Mr. Lu was arrested on August 5, 2010, bu Yang Yugang from the Zhuozhou City Domestic Security Division. He has been held in the Zhuozhou City Detention Center following his arrest.

The police confiscated her notebook computer, printer, and other personal belongings. Ms. Zhao is now in the Yuanbaoshan District Detention Center.

17. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zheng Huaiyu and Other Practitioners Arrested and Detained

Mr. Zheng Huaiyu; his wife, Ms. Zhang Yuhuan; and Ms. Zhao Lianyu from Xiba, Yichang City, were arrested on May 24, 2011, as they spoke with people about Falun Gong in Zhushi in the Dianjun District. The four practitioners are being held in the Yichang City Detention Center.
