(Clearwisdom.net) On July 25, 2011, Falun Dafa practitioners gathered at the Champ-de-Mars Plaza in Paris, France to protest the Chinese Communist Party's 12-year-long persecution of Falun Gong. They also used the occasion to commemorate the thousands of practitioners killed in the persecution. The location in front of the Eiffel Tower provided the opportunity to talk to many tourists, including many Chinese tourists, about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.
Many Chinese tourists took the fliers and listened to practitioners explain how the CCP persecutes Falun Gong and how staged the “Tiananmen Square self-immolation” to frame Falun Gong. Many of the Chinese tourists withdrew from the Communist Party, Youth League or the Young Pioneers on the spot. Some of them happily chanted, “Long live Falun Gong!” Others read the display boards and watched the Falun Gong exercise demonstration.
