(Clearwisdom.net) Hohhot Women's Forced Labor Camp's Division No.2 forces Falun Gong practitioners and other inmates to do hard labor. They work ten hours a day to seal polywoven bags for Xinde Plastic Co., Ltd. Beginning on March 16, 2011, they got up to begin work at 6:30 a.m. and worked non-stop until 8:00 p.m. This schedule lasted until May 29, when they switched to getting up at 6:00 a.m. and worked until 6:00 p.m. The high decibel noise in the workshop, together with the overload of hard labor and carrying heavy items, completely exhausts them.

Enduring long-term depression, tension and fatigue, many detainees were unable to bear it, and they often cried and had quarrels. Some who had high blood pressure and heart problems collapsed, and those physically weak and chronically ill patients were even more unable to keep up the demanding schedule and workload. The division heads showed no mercy; instead they always find fault with. The guards often exert mental pressure on practitioners and other inmates, threatening them with extensions of their prison terms.

Division No. 2 guard Wan Jianhua always shouts and curses, arbitrarily humiliating and hurting people. She makes detainees wash her family's clothes, massage her and wait on her, treating them as virtual slaves. All the guards treat detainees badly, always finding fault with them and extorting them. For example, inmates don't need to pay for the cost of their medical treatment, but Health Section officials force them to pay, then report all the expenses to the upper level department, thus the health section gets paid twice. Additionally, Wu Qingying, who is in charge of the labor camp's small shop, charges more than double the normal price for commodities sold there.
