(Clearwisdom.net) On August 23, 2011, the Yushu City 610 Office in Jilin Province influenced the court to illegally sentence three senior female Falun Gong practitioners, Ms.Yang Yazhi, Ms. Xu Lihua, and Ms. Sun Shuxia, as well as their, driver Guo Fengxue. These innocent women have been incarcerated in the detention center for more than 100 days.
At 2:00 p.m. on the day of the trial, the court stopped regular work. The entrance was lined with dozens of police and police cars. There were riot police, traffic police, and plainclothes officers present.
According to someone who attended the trial, Ms. Yang, Ms. Xu, Ms. Sun, and Mr. Guo had been badly abused and were in poor health. They were wearing handcuffs and shackles. The police had not allowed their family members to contact them. The prosecutor falsified documents to frame the practitioners. It was as though the court officials were putting on an act. After more than an hour, they wrapped up the trial hastily.
Ms. Yang Yazhi, Ms. Xu Lihua, Ms.Sun Shuxia, and Guo Fengxue were originally arrested in Zhijiang Village, Xiushui Township, on May 3, 2011, for distributing truth clarifying materials. They were detained overnight. The next day, they were taken to the domestic security team for interrogation and then detained in the police department.
The authorities censored all news of this illegal trial. It was not until recently that the court acknowledged that the trial had been held on August 23, 2011.
