(Clearwisdom.net) Harbin City police arrested three practitioners about two months ago. They were Mr. Zhao Yungu, in his 70s; his wife, Ms. Liu Shumei; and Ms. Chen Liyun. Bin County Procuratorate officials plan to charge them.
Police arrested Mr. Zhao and his wife on the morning of June 23, 2011. They broke into the couple's home and took their personal belongings, including 180,000 yuan in cash, two laptop computers, a desktop computer, a printer, and other items.
Almost at the same time, many officers went to Ms. Chen’s home. They used a ladder to climb up to the second floor balcony and broke in. They took a deposit book containing 170,000 yuan and nearly 40,000 yuan in cash, a desktop computer, a printer, a photosensitive seal machine, nearly 1000 photosensitive seals, two gold necklaces, and one pair of gold earrings. Ms. Chen’s mother and older sister were also arrested, but they were released in the afternoon.
It was said that the arrests were directed by Harbin City police officials, supervised by Political and Judicial Bureau head Wang Weixu. Agents involved were from Division 7 of Harbin Police Department and Bin County Political and Judicial Bureau (headed by Liu Jianhua), and Xicheng Police Station in Binzhou Town. Plainclothes agents from Division 7 have secretly followed Mr. Zhao, Ms. Liu, and Ms. Chen for a long time. They also bugged their cell phones with hi-tech electronic devices.
Mr. Zhao and Ms. Liu are both over 70. When the police surrounded the homes of Mr. Zhao and Ms. Chen, many people gathered to watch. The police officers lied to the onlookers, saying, “We are here to arrest felons and drug addicts.”
These three practitioners have been detained since they were arrested on June 23. Police officials have prohibited their family from visiting them and refused to return the stolen personal belongings (money alone totals over 400,000 yuan, plus computers and other valuable items.). It is said that Bin County Procuratorate officials plan to bring charges against the three practitioners.
