(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Tang Donghua of Gongan County was arrested by police officers from Gongan County early in the morning on August 11, 2011. His family went to police officer Liao Xuesheng and asked that he be released. Liao claimed that he was not in charge and then gave orders that Mr. Tang's family members be beaten.

On August 12 at around 1 p.m. Mr. Tang's family went to the domestic security division to meet with Liao Xuesheng to discuss Mr. Tang's release. No one was on duty, so they waited until after 5 p.m. before returning home. Mr. Tang's mother was very anxious, cried her heart out, and lost her appetite, as she had no news about her son.

On August 14 Mr. Tang's brother went to see Liao, but the door was locked and the shades drawn. Mr. Tang's brother was told after placing a phone call to Liao that Falun Gong practitioners were not welcome. On Liao's deck someone put up a banner that read, “This is to inform Liao Xuesheng that freedom of faith is permitted under existing law, while persecution is against the law. You should release Mr. Tang Donghua immediately. Falun Gong has spread to more than 100 countries. The world knows that Falun Dafa is good.”

Liao told Mr. Tang's brother that he would break the hands of whoever put up any such banner. He also said that his superior ordered him to arrest Mr. Tang and told Xie Feng from the 610 Office to act as witness.

At 8 a.m. on August 16, Mr. Tang's mother, wife, sisters, and other relatives went to Liao's office to ask for Mr. Tang's release. Liao was furious, rude, and obviously trying to hide his fear. During their confrontation he struck Mr. Tang's elder sister and left a three-inch cut on her left arm. Liao also called in police officers to remove everyone except Tang's mother from his office.

According to a report, the arrest was Liao's brainchild. He asked a Communist Party member from Douhuti Town to contact the director of Gaoqiang Village, Liu Peijun, to find Mr. Tang before the arrest.

Furthermore, on June 22, 2011, when Liao and his cohorts went to ransack Mr. Tang's home, the license plates of all the police vehicles but one were covered. That one read D4056.

When Tang was arrested on August 11, 2011, the license plates of the police vehicles involved were D4018, Liao's car, and D4013.

Currently, the deputy chief executive of Douhuti Town, Jinping, is in charge of the brainwashing center in Hubei, where Mr. Tang was sent for brainwashing.
