(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Liu Xingyun from the Fifth Department of Water and Power in Sanhe City, Hebei Province was arrested on July 13, 2011. Party secretary of the Fifth Department of Water and Power Wu Liming, head of the Neighborhood Committee Li Juan, and officers from Beicheng Police Station and Beicheng Community Residential Committee worked together to send her to Langfang City Brainwashing Center. She has been illegally detained in the brainwashing center for more than two months. Ms. Liu’s husband works in another city, and their son Huzi is left at home alone without anyone to take care of him.
Li Juan led officers from Sanhe Domestic Security Division to break into Ms. Liu’s home on the afternoon of September 13, and confiscated her personal belongings. When Huzi returned home and noticed that their computer and other personal belongings had been stolen, he reported it to the Beicheng Police Station. He was later informed that it was officers from Sanhe Domestic Security Division who had taken the items.
Ms. Liu started a hunger strike to protest the persecution, and her family is deeply concerned about her wellbeing.
