On the afternoon of August 10, 2011, when Ms. Chen Yanwei was distributing truth clarifying materials in the No. 2 Milan District, West Nine Road, Ping'an Street, Mudanjiang City, she was reported by security guards and arrested. She was taken to the Xi'an Police Department. Later, Zang and Liu (given names unknown), police officers from the Xi'an Police Department, went to her ransack her home. Nothing incriminating was found, but Ms. Chen was taken to the Xinglong Detention Center. Her family members were not allowed to visit. She has been sentenced to one year of forced labor.

On September 6, 2011, four practitioners—Ms. Yin Minhui, Ms. Yin Yanhui, Ms. Meng Yani, and Ms. Zhou, a senior practitioner—were arrested when they were distributing truth clarifying materials in Wuliang Village, Zhong'an, Beizhen City. Ms. Zhou escaped with righteous thoughts. The three others were taken to the Jinzhou Detention Center.

On the night of September 6, 2011, officers from Yongjing County, Gansu Province, barged into Ms. Wang Ruilin's home and arrested her. On the morning of September 8, 2011, she was tried in Yongjing County Court along with other practitioners including Ms. Liu Rufang and Mr. Wang Xu. After the trial, Mx. On September 9, 2011, Ms. Song Chaoxiao, an instructor at Jilin University (formally Norman Bethune University) was arrested and her home was ransacked.

Mr. Shi Zehui and Ms. Deng Mingming from Taicang City, were arrested on the afternoon of April 15, 2011, and taken to the Taicang City Detention Center. Their arrests were approved on May 21, 2011. After three months of so-called “trial investigation and evidence collection,” their cases were rejected by the agents of the procurator due to lack of evidence. Their cases were then transferred to the Taicang City Police Department. Instead of releasing them, agents at the police department tried to fabricate crimes so that they could continue to detain Mr. Shi and Ms. Deng.

Ms. Yi Xianmei was arrested by local police officers and taken to the Huaihua City Brainwashing Center on September 7, 2011.
On the night of September 7, 2011, Ms. Jiang Yongmei was held down on the floor by six plainclothes officers and then taken to the Huaihua City Brainwashing Center. Later, police officers went to Ms. Xue Baoyu's home to arrest her, but she was not there. They ransacked her home and took Dafa books and materials.

Ms. Yang Tonglian from Qiandongnan Prefecture is 40 years old. In early August 2011, when she was on her way back to Kaili from Guiyang City, she was reported for clarifying the truth at the Lugeji Railway Station. She was held at the Nanming District Rare Animal Protection Center, Guiyang City. A 12-year-old child has been left at home without care. Ms. Liu Lixia from Jili Community, Liuyang City, is 48. On the morning of September 6, 2011, officers from the Liuyang City 610 Office and the Jili Police Station, Liuyang City, followed and arrested her while she was getting gas at a gas station in Liuyang City. She was taken to the Hunan Province Legal Education Class (a brainwashing center). That night she was taken to an interrogation room in the basement of the Liuyang City Police Department. They also broke into her home and confiscated a cell phone, a computer, a printer, and her daughter's computer which was used for school.
At 4:00 a.m. the next day, she escaped with righteous thoughts.

23. [Yuxi City, Yunnan Province] 610 Office Agents Frequently Harass Practitioners
During August of 2011, Yuxi City 610 Office agents oversaw the frequent harassment of practitioners by the local police station, the neighborhood administration, and the Domestic Security Division of Hongtai District Police Department, Yuxi City. On the morning of August 25, claiming to be checking residential IDs, officers from the Yuxing Road Police Station coerced Ms. Hua Lanxian and her husband into opening their door and they were arrested. Ms. Hua was taken to the brainwashing center and her husband was released the same night.
On August 25, Ms. Li Lingzhen, a teacher, was deceived into attending a group study. Her whereabouts are unknown.
On August 25, 2011, Huang Yuqiong, a female chief of the Huangguan Neighborhood Administration Office, Hongta District, Yuxi City, and Du Zhongrong, an officer of the Yudai Road Police Station, planned to arrest Ms. Qiong Guihua and take her to a brainwashing center. They failed to arrest her but continued to harass her for a month. During this time, Zhu Jiayong of the Domestic Security Division, Hongta District Police Department, Yuxi City, went to her home to take pictures.
Mr. Pan Shenghua was harassed on August 2, 2011.
