(Clearwisdom.net) On September 18, 2011, the annual Newark Community Day was held at the University of Delaware in Newark City, Delaware. More than 230 groups and vendors took part in this fall festival, and more than ten thousand people participated in the family-friendly event. The community day has a history of 40 years, and is one of the most important events that attracts the most festival-goers.

Vendor tents were lined up along sidewalks, and their booths displayed all different types of items, attracting crowds of festival-goers. The Falun Gong practitioners' booth displayed many Falun Gong books and truth-clarifying materials, and a video of the Falun Gong exercise demonstration was continually played through a television set, attracting people of different races, ages, and background. Many people came to the booth to find out more about Falun Gong. Young practitioners from the great Philadelphia Minghui School Dance Team performed the Lotus Dance, Waist Drum Dance, and Fan Dance. The practitioners' exercise demonstration attracted many people who stopped to watch. Their singing of the song “Falun Dafa Is Good” reverberated above the campus of the University of Delaware.
Among the audience members who watched Minghui School students' dance performances and Falun Gong exercise demonstration was Ms. Hoover. She said excitedly, “When watching the exercise demonstration, I feel a kind of energy field.” She said she liked the smooth and gentle exercise movements, and wanted to learn more about Falun Gong.
