(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Gao Xuying was arrested on May 18, 2011, and taken to a detention center. She was later transferred to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp.
On May 18, 2011, officers from Wenbei Police Station in the Lunan District of Tangshan City arrested Ms. Gao Xuying, Ms. Yang, and Ms. Zhang Xiuying (a retired teacher) at the East Station. Ms. Zhang and Ms. Yang were released that same day, but Ms. Gao was taken to Tangshan Detention Center. At the detention center, Ms. Gao refused to wear the uniform because she had not committed any crime. The guards then handcuffed her and forced her to wear the uniform. She was held for 15 days before she was released.
Wenbei Police Station officers went to Ms. Gao's home at around 7:00 a.m. on July 19, 2011, to arrest her again. They took her to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp.
Ms. Gao began to practice Falun Dafa in 1998. However, she stopped practicing when the Chinese Communist regime began to persecute Falun Gong in 1999. She began to practice again in 2003.
Ms. Gao's mother became ill upon hearing of her arrest. Ms. Gao has a six-year-old daughter who needs her mother's care. We ask people to pay attention to her situation.
