(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Pang Pengbo is employed in Team No. 4 of the Transportation Group of Gudong Oil Recovery Factory of Shengli Oil Field. He was illegally arrested by officers from the Shengli Oil Field’s Criminal Police Team when he attempted to remove a banner that slandered Falun Gong around 8:00 p.m. on June 14, 2011. After being detained for two months, his whereabouts are now unknown.
Mr. Pang had dinner at his mother’s on June 14, 2011. On his way home, he saw a banner that slandered Falun Gong hanging on a roadside guardrail. He tried to remove it, but as soon as he began cutting the banner down, several plainclothes officers who had been hiding nearby suddenly rushed up to him. They surrounded him, brutally beat and kicked him, and dragged him to the police car. They took him to the Gudaohaibin Police Department and held him in the detention center for 15 days.
Afterwards, Gudong Oil Recovery Factory’s Party secretary Gao Yuemin, deputy secretary Gai Jinchun, Transportation Group political head Si Huiyin, and Transportation Team head Wu Jianguo transferred Mr. Pang to Dongying City and secretly detained him and subjected him to brainwashing. It is believed that Mr. Pang may be in the Jishu Brainwashing Center in Shengli Oil Field
Two months have passed. Mr. Pang’s whereabouts are currently unknown. His family cannot find out where he is, let alone any information about how he has been treated.
Someone from the Transportation Group claimed that “Mr. Pang will be subjected to forced labor if he still refuses to be 'transformed.'”
