(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Dongshan Town Police Station Officer Bi Guofa Dies in a Motorcycle Accident
Police officer Bi Guofa from Dongshan Town Police Station fell from his motorcycle and died on September 4, 2001, at the age of 41. Bi Guofa came from Shitouhe Village in Dongshan Town, Shandong Province. After Jiang's regime started this brutal and senseless persecution against Falun Gong, Dongshan Police Station personnel followed the regime's instructions by confiscating Falun Gong books, arresting practitioners and setting up brainwashing centers.
Seeing this as a good chance to get promoted, Bi Guofa actively played a leading role in the persecution by beating practitioners or confiscating their books. Every time he went to a village, he ordered the practitioners to come together and he pressured every practitioner by demanding they denounce practicing Falun Gong and say slanderous things about Master Li. If the practitioners refused to comply, Bi arrested them.
As a result of Bi's actively taking a lead role in cooperating with and participating in the persecution, in just days local practitioners' cultivation environment was destroyed and hundreds of Falun Gong books were confiscated. Bi's crimes were rewarded by the CCP authorities and he was promoted to director of Dongshan Police Station.
During that time, as Bi rode his motorcycle home one day, the vehicle suddenly caught fire. Bi didn't understand this was a warning for him and continued persecuting practitioners. Eventually, his evil deeds caused bigger trouble for him. He died in the motorcycle accident, leaving behind his wife and a son.
Prison and Police Station Officers in Jilin Province Receive Karmic Retribution
1. From 2002 to December 2007, prison guard Lin Zhibin actively participated in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in the 5th Division in Jilin Prison. He is responsible for the torture deaths of practitioners Liu Chengjun and Cui Weidong.
Since 2000, Lin Zhibin savagely beat many practitioners. After a prisoner beat practitioner Zheng Weidong, Lin didn't punish the prisoner, but instead detained Mr. Zheng. After his evil deeds were exposed, he suspected that practitioners Liu Chengjun and Cui Weidong who were in the same division had revealed his plans to others, he then beat the two practitioners himself, brutally using every available torture instrument and method. In the end, both practitioners died as a result of the torture. In November 2008, it was learned that he took bribes from a prisoner and allowed him to leave the prison on bail. As a result, he was investigated and later sentenced to three years in prison. Now he is detained at the Tiebei Prison in Changchun, Jilin Province.
2. Prison guard Zhang Xing persecuted practitioner Shi Wenzhuo. When Mr. Shi tried to explain the facts about the persecution to him, Zhang refused to listen. In May 2008, when Zhang Xing's supervisor discovered that he provided drugs to prisoners Sun Ye and Yang Qingjiang, he was fired.
3. Chen Xin, the previous head of the 3rd division of Jilin Prison has detained and persecuted several practitioners. Though those practitioners kept compassionately persuading him to stop and explained the truth to him, he still wouldn't stop participating and persecuting practitioners. In June 2011, he was caught taking bribes from prisoners and was fired by the Department of Corrections.
4. Police officer Xing Haitao from the Domestic Security Division in Baicheng City, Jilin Province, has participated in arresting several practitioners. He has now received karmic retribution for his misdeeds: he developed a mental disorder and has been taken to a mental hospital.
