(Clearwisdom.net) Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company gave five shows in four days at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, in the San Diego area, on January 19-22, 2012. When the last three shows of the series completely sold out days in advance, the presenter and venue management decided to open up previously unavailable seating to satisfy the public demand.

Richard Wheeler, CEO of a mortgaging company, attended the Thursday evening performance, calling it “fabulous, very therapeutic, and beautiful.” When asked how he would describe the show to his friends, Mr. Wheeler replied, “Filled with wonderful dancing and music, a beautiful package that’s put together very well.” He added that he was “very impressed with the athleticism of the dancers,” and that “the overall presentation is extraordinarily well done.”

Michael, a writer, found the show to be a profound experience. He said that he was “honored and privileged to learn about Falun Dafa” through the performance on Thursday night. When asked what stood out in his mind, he answered: “Expertise of the performers and the spiritual awakening of the performance. It was the divine speaking through the people, and I felt it.” Looking at his companions, he said that he was “crying because it was so beautiful and spiritual.”
Mr. and Mrs. Hanson
Mr. and Mrs. Hanson found out about Shen Yun's 2012 world tour from a local newspaper. Mrs. Hanson, a retired teacher, expressed feelings of “delight, amazement, peace” while watching the Friday evening performance, while Mr. Hanson, a professor, found the show to be “energizing, with a very positive message of perseverance, faith, and hope.”
Shen Yun Performing Arts has three equally large companies that tour the world simultaneously with the mission to revive the 5,000 years of divinely inspired, traditional heritage of China. Shen Yun will be performing in Detroit, Michigan, Atlanta, Georgia, and Phoenix, Arizona, in the week of January 23-29, 2012.
