(Clearwisdom.net) On November 26, 2011, Yangquan City, Pingding County Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Bai Fengzhong, Ms. Zhu Guiling, Ms. Bai Jianping, and Mr. Wang Xuzhou were arrested by officers from the Pingding County 610 Office and Police Department. The four practitioners are being held at the Pingding County and Yangquan City Detention Center and are set to face trial.

On November 26, 2011, Pingding County 610 Office personnel Du Yujun, Pingding County Police Department deputy director Zhang, Guanshan Town Police Station officers Feng Xing and Jia Jianjun, and several other officers broke into Mr. Bai Fengzhong's home and arrested him. The officers confiscated Falun Gong books and other personal belongings. The officers arrested the other three practitioners that same day.

The four practitioners each refused to sign the arrest warrants issued by the Procuratorate. The Procuratorate then demanded that their families sign instead. However, the families replied, “They are all innocent. What would we sign for?” The families requested that the four practitioners be released immediately.

Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began the suppression of Falun Gong in 1999, the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners has remained severe in Yangquan City and throughout Pingding County. Many practitioners have been detained and sentenced to forced labor or prison.

Mr. Wang Xuzhou, 56, is from Yexi Town, Pingding County. He had many illnesses prior to practicing Falun Gong. After he began practicing in 1997, he quickly recovered and has since been healthy both physically and mentally. However, Mr. Wang was sentenced to three years of forced labor in 2002.

Ms. Zhu Guiling, 54, is from Donghui Town, Pingding County. Prior to taking up the practice, she suffered from many illnesses including swollen hands and legs, asthma, and hepatic cysts of the liver, among other things. Ms. Zhu regained her health after practicing Falun Gong and has not taken any medications over the last decade.

All four practitioners were arrested at their homes. The police utilized deceptive means in the arrests of the practitioners that included secretly following them, ransacking their homes, and conducting arrests without any legal documentation. The police confiscated many personal belongings, and they later fabricated so-called “evidence” that will be used to try them in court.

Mr. Bai Fengzhong has requested that his attorney issue a not guilty plea.
