1. [Harbin, Heilongjiang] Ms. Cui Guizhi Detained in the Harbin Second Detention Center
Ms. Cui Guizhi, who is 73 years of age, was arrested by Jiang Tao, deputy chief of the Gongnong Police Station in the Daoli District, and other officers on the morning of January 14, 2012. She is being detained in the Harbin Second Detention Center.
2. [Fushun, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Fuchun Still Detained
Mr. Zhang Fuchun lives in Xinbin County, Fushun. It was recently discovered that Fushun Court returned Mr. Zhang's case to the Yushu Township Police Station because of insufficient evidence. However, those in charge of the case still have not released Mr. Zhang.
3. [Bazhou, Hebei Province] Ms. Feng Yanyun and Ms. Cheng Keyun Arrested
Ms. Feng Yanyun and Ms. Cheng Keyun from Nanmeng Town, Bazhou, were arrested by Zhang Fengwu from the Mazhuang Police Station and Wan Zexian from the Guan County Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of January 9, 2012. The two practitioners have been detained in the Guan County Detention Center.
4. [Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province] Six Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
Six practitioners from Qidaoling Township, Chaoyang County, were arrested by officers from the Qidaoling Police Station of the Chaoyang Police Department around noon on January 16, 2012. The practitioners are: Ms. Liu Shuxian, Ms. Bian Yuling, Ms. Liu Yanling, Mr. Dong Jiuxue, Ms. Wang Yuqin and Mr. Li Shijie.

Ms. Li Li and two other practitioners from Xiangdian, Pingdu, Qingdao, were arrested at a farmers' market in Xiangdian on January 13, 2012. They are being held in the Pingdu Detention Center.

6. [Hefei, Anhui Province] Ms. Peng Jinxiu Persecuted
Ms. Peng Jinxiu from Hefei posted materials clarifying the facts about Falun Gong at Jianghuai College in early December 2011 when she was reported to police by a guard at the college entrance. Officers from the Wulidun Police Station in Hefei ransacked her home and confiscated her computer and all of her Falun Gong books and materials. The police also ordered her husband to monitor her wherever she went.
Recently, personnel from the Wulidun Neighborhood Committee went to Ms. Peng's home to harass her and tried to extort money from her. They demanded that she pay 10,000 yuan, threatening that she would be sent to a brainwashing center if she did not.
