(Minghui.org) Despite the Communist Party's attempt to destroy traditional beliefs, Chinese people still have a sense that those who commit bad deeds will meet with consequences in the form of karmic retribution.

Falun Gong practitioners in Handan have collected the following cases in order to encourage perpetrators to stop participating in the persecution of the spiritual discipline for their own benefit. The old adage that “what goes around comes around” exceeds the scope of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s control.

The following are some examples of karmic retribution often discussed by residents in Handan:

Ji Shaochun (吉少春) with the Quzhou County Police Station in Handan had tortured practitioners especially harshly. Local practitioners many times advised him not to participate in the persecution. Instead, he yelled, “I just want to persecute Falun Gong, your practitioners, and your teacher. Why haven't I received karmic retribution?” On August 23, 2012, he drove a police vehicle into a tractor in Feixiang County and died at the scene.

Dang Dianjun (党殿军), a section chief at the Hanshan District Public Security Bureau, refused practitioners' advice to stop participating in the persecution of Falun Gong. Dang and other officers once tortured practitioner Su Xueling by beating, kicking, and shocking her with electric batons. He even stomped on the practitioner's head and chest, leading to her falling into a coma for more than two hours. Dang even boasted, “I, Dang Dianjun, is a Communist Party member! An atheist! I am not afraid of karmic retribution!” In 2004, he died of cancer while in his 40s.

Li Zhide (李志德), the former head of Chengan County Police Station, was the main perpetrator in the deaths of practitioners Xun Ruilin (寻瑞林), Wang Shusheng (王书军), Zhai Liansheng (翟连生) and Xia Wenzhong (夏文仲). While leading the arrest of 68 Falun Gong practitioners on August 31, 2002, he yelled, “I am a demon. I just want to kill you.” He later died from esophagus cancer.

Zhao Xiucai (赵修才), a restaurant owner in Wuan City, was misled by the Communist Party's hate propaganda against Falun Gong. He cursed Falun Gong and its founder when he saw the large words “Falun Gong is good” painted on a wall beside a road. He yelled, “I am a Communist Party member. I don't believe there are gods. I am not afraid of karmic retribution.” Two months later, he died in a car accident while buying supplies for his restaurant. He was in his 50s.

Yuan Hongxian (袁宏现) of Maliangu, Quzhou County, Handan followed Party propaganda and cursed Falun Gong in public. He borrowed a motorcycle from his neighbor and went to a fair in another village with his wife and two children on October 20, 2006. His motorcycle crashed into a motorized tricycle on a bridge, and he died on the spot. His wife and two children were hospitalized. His mother later found that his internal organs had been dug out.

Li Guihong (李桂洪), the former head of Handan City Police, was one of the masterminds in pushing forward the persecution in the region. He was once recognized as an “honored, special policeman nationwide” for his involvement in abusing Falun Gong practitioners. However, in August 2012, he was put under investigation by the Party for corruption.

He suffered a stroke during his visit to Shanghai in March 2013. He survived the emergency surgery with lasting brain injuries. His wife also suffered a stroke and is in a vegetative state. Comments have circulated in Handan that his bad deeds brought disasters to him and his family.
