(Minghui.org) Tourists passing by the Chinese consulate in Brisbane, Australia, on August 29 had a chance to find out about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China and to sign a petition demanding its end.

Signing the petition

A group of young people came up as soon as the Falun Gong practitioners finished setting up their booth. They talked to the practitioners for a long time, and all of them signed the petition. One young man was visibly upset by the persecution and asked if he could sign the petition twice.

A Taiwanese girl had heard about the persecution but didn't believe that, in the 21st century, somebody would harvest organs from a living person. Looking at the evidence, she noticed that patients waiting for transplants in other countries usually have to wait months or years for a match, while in China the process only takes a few days. That convinced her.

“Where can the hospitals get organs that fast?” a practitioner asked. “The most probable explanation is that they kill and harvest organs on demand.”

Shocked, the girl signed the petition and condemned the brutality.

Chinese passersby were given evidence of the social and moral devastation the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has brought about in China, as practitioners urged them to quit the Party.

One young Chinese man talked to practitioners for a long time and asked many questions about Falun Gong. They talked about how the CCP has slandered Falun Gong in its propaganda and about the facts of the persecution.

A practitioner said to him, “The CCP has done so many bad things. It is responsible for the deaths of millions of Chinese and has destroyed the country's moral standard. Heaven will no longer tolerate it. You should quit now so that you will have a bright future. I am not asking you for money or anything. I am telling you this for your own good.”

The young man agreed and asked for more information.
