(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. Within a short time I returned to good health. However, I was still tormented by bad breath. I had bad teeth and 10 dental crowns.

Doctors said that one crown contained lots of bacteria, which multiplied by 10 would result in a large number of bacteria in my mouth. My teeth were painful from time to time; the pain made me quite uneasy. It was alleviated by my sending righteous thoughts, but was not completely gone.

I consulted dentists and was told that I had gum disease and thus all teeth had to be pulled and replaced with implants. Then, I heard in a television program that bad breath had to do with stomach problems.

Many people had different opinions about the cause of my bad breath. A university professor said that I had bad breath because my stomach was cold. She shared a folk remedy with me, but again, I had no luck.

Letting Go of Conventional and Rigid Thinking

Due to my bad breath, I had to cover my mouth when talking to people about Falun Dafa.

While doing the meditation in July 2014, Teacher hinted that I should change my thinking. I remembered that Teacher mentioned the thought process three times in his main book Zhuan Falun. He talked of human thinking, conventional thinking and rigid thinking.

I realized that although I had been cultivating for so many years, I was still at the stage of human thinking instead of thinking like a cultivator. This way, I would never transcend the human boundary.

As a practitioner I have to change the way I think. I tried to solve problems as if I were not a practitioner. That was useless. I am a practitioner, and must negate everything that affects my cultivation state.

When I started to think as a practitioner, my bad breath disappeared. The problem that had tormented me for over two decades was solved as soon as I changed my way of thinking.

Now, I do not need to cover my mouth when telling people the facts about Dafa and can do it in a dignified way.

I will be more diligent in practicing cultivation and do all that is required of a qualified practitioner.

I am deeply grateful for Teacher's help and guidance.
