(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners from Sydney set up a booth in Chinatown on October 3, 2015, to expose the brutal persecution in China. The practitioners also collected signatures on a petition supporting the lawsuits against the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin, who launched and directed the persecution, and signature condemning the Chinese state-sanctioned organ harvesting.

Local residents talk to Falun Gong practitioners and sign the petition calling for the end of the state-sanctioned organ harvesting in China.

Belinda Alafaci, a local woman, said she had read about the organ harvesting in China, and was horrified by the brutality. She was also encouraged by the lawsuits being filed against Jiang Zemin.

“It is great that more than 180 thousand criminal complaints have been filed against him. I hope Falun Gong will win,” she said. “I just signed both petitions. I hope the dictator will be brought to justice.”

Belinda was happy to learn that Green Party Parliament Member David Shoebridge submitted a petition to the New South Wales Parliament with 200 thousand signatures, and proposed a legislative amendment to stop unethical organ trade (Trafficking in Human Organs Bill 2015).

She said, “Organ harvesting is completely wrong. Nobody wants to be killed in that way to save another person's life.” She took a stack of materials on the topic for her friends.

Ann VcVie and her daughter Emma said they had watched the documentary “Human Harvest,” aired on TV station SBS Dateline in April. “I was horrified,” Ann said, “It should not be happening. I hope our government will take actions to stop the persecution in China.”

Emma also condemned the organ harvesting. She said that she would post the news on her Facebook page, and let more people know about it.
